I've always been a huge fan of early American coins, but the nice ones tend to be really expensive. I saw one proof half dime priced at over $4500, just crazy money! I hope you can find some good stuff while you're there! Half dimes aren't usually too expensive if you shop around unless they're near mint state.

Very interesting. I am not sure I have even heard of a half dime before now. Maybe I have, but I don't really recall. I think the designs were a bit better back then though those state quarters had some keepers.
