Leopards and jaguars aren't any more dangerous than cougars. They tend to mind their own business as long as they're healthy. I've long been a proponent of reestablishing the jaguar in the southern US because it is it's native range. It was only killed off by ranchers, who thought they were a threat to cattle. Just like the wolf. At least we have the wolf back, now we just need to get our jaguars back!
