New communities on Hive deserve more attention - July 2026

As July 2026 passed, it is a good time as any other to find out what new communities were established for the month on the Hive blockchain and which might deserve more attention. The beginning of any journey is hard and while it is exciting, it is of great motivation if we find common ground with these communities, join them and show support. We are in bear market and that doesn't help with anyone's motivation, but the fact that there are still initiatives to create communities is a proof that people care and they want to do something meaningful in this ecosystem. And while there aren't crazy numbers, at least we are moving into the right direction and keep growing, even if one step at a time.

In July 2026 we had 12 new communities created which represents positive growth nevertheless. We are far away from the previous bull run when we would see somewhere in between 30 - 50 communities created, but at least we are not standing still. With every new community established there is new energy and engagement that is sparkled between the users of this ecosystem. Some might show slow growth, while others might receive faster support, but all of them are creating new connections like in a neural network. That's organic and that's the best experience and activity the Hive blockchain can witness. And from here new friendship might appear, new projects might get initiated and a lot of new opportunities. That's why I find communities like strong pillars in this ecosystem and why they should not be overlooked for a second.

Top 3 Hive Communities - July 2026

1. Good Deeds Counts

This is a new community dedicated to promoting kindness and positive actions in everyday life. Members share inspiring stories, charitable initiatives and simple acts of generosity that make a difference. Its goal is to encourage a culture where every good deed, no matter how small, is valued. I have joined this community as well and as of now it has 15 members. Don't be shy! 😉

2. Hdev Contests

Here comes a community centered around weekly contests designed to help Hive users improve their content and grow their presence. Participants are encouraged to explore Hive dapps, enhance their SEO skills and learn new strategies while competing for rewards. It combines education, creativity and community engagement. Very good for entry level I guess and it has 6 members for now.

3. Hive Grove

This seems to be the official community for the Hive Grove social game, bringing together players and enthusiasts. Members can share gameplay experiences, strategies, updates and achievements while interacting with fellow players. It serves as the main hub for everything related to the Hive Grove gaming ecosystem. Quite at the beginning with only 3 members, but with a lot of potential. This got me thinking that maybe I should start also a game on the Hive blockchain, but still waiting for the right idea for it.

The number of communities established on the Hive blockchain in July 2026 is far away from the number we were accustomed with. This entire ecosystem goes through a hard phase not only common to the bear market, but to its core use case as well. The Hive price sees new all time lows after all time lows and it seems there is no stopping it, but in the same time people keep on building and content is put out there in the open. There is still activity on this platform and the new communities for sure help with engagement and show that anyone can build and create something here. Myself the tokenomics on Hive are over what I can comprehend and decipher so I am not sure why value keeps draining while I am here present day after day and I see others the same. Maybe someone has an answer and I am waiting for that in the comments. But besides that, let's cheer on the new communities created on the Hive blockchain and wish them GOOD LUCK!!!
