A Letter From The Pass

A letter arrived yesterday was written 5 years ago to Cleo. As she held it in her hands, she was filled with mixed emotions. The letter was from Nick, her long-lost husband.

She had longed for and anticipated a call or note from him but never got any. Tears welled up in her as she opened the letter and began to read, She hadn't heard from him for over five years, as there's no news about his whereabouts. She had even thought of the worst, that maybe Nick had left her for good.

As she read through the letter, Nick explained to her that he had been wanting to explain something he discovered in a deep forest and would want to go there for further research, but because they had a misunderstanding that day, he couldn't tell her but decided to go and give her a call later but somehow misplaced his phone on his way and has since been looking for ways to communicate with her.

He further explained how he has faced countless challenges and dangers, but what has kept him is his love for her. After she had finished reading the letter, she didn't know how she would feel or react because she still wasn't sure if Nick was still dead or alive.

She mustered courage and decided to take action about the whole situation; she challenged herself to look for her husband at all costs.
