Good day, summoners! This is @zusi78 — welcome to my blog.
I have owned Tidal Tsunami for a long time now, but I hardly ever use it in battle. A few days ago, I was going through my Water element collection and realized the card only needs a few more copies to upgrade to Level 5, which will unlock its Repair ability.
It’s the wish of every warrior to strengthen their cards and bring the best possible deck into every battle.
There are some common splinter cards from different elements that become extremely valuable and powerful in battles after being upgraded to a certain level. This is because they unlock different abilities at specific upgrade levels. Tidal Tsunami is a good example.
MY OWN TIDAL TSUNAMI WITH SNEAK AND REPAIR ABILITY AFTER BEEN UPGRADED.
Having Sneak to pick off squishy backline targets while running Repair to keep your frontline tank's armor intact makes Tidal Tsunamist a massive support/offense dual threat.
And in these epic battles I shared in this post, her contribution to me winning was amazing and awesome for the team. I will surely keep attending to her until she gets upgraded to max level.
Splinterlands is no walk in the park, but that's what amps up the excitement.A winning strategy weighs stats, abilities, rulesets, mana caps, and beyond. That's why you must factor them all into your deck building.Toss in strong cards to boost your setups, and push hard to rack up as many victories as possible**! 🔥
FEATURED CARD.
Tidal Tsunamist (often casually called Tidal Tsunami) is a Common Water Splinter monster from the Conclave Arcana set in Splinterlands. It belongs to the Tideborn bloodline and is a versatile melee unit that combines backline pressure with valuable team support. She becomes fully maxed at level 10 as shown above and has the following statistics.
Stats (Max Level 10):Mana Cost 5, Melee attack 4, Speed 5, Health 7 and no armor.
Reaching max level requires a high BCX total for Commons (around 400).

Abilities (Unlock Progression)
At Level 1 –It has the Sneak abilityalready.
Sneak: Targets the last (rear) unit on the enemy team instead of the front. This lets it snipe fragile backline supports, healers, or high-value glass-cannon units without needing front-line positioning.
At Level 5 –It unlocks the Repair ability:
Repair:Restores 2 armor (up to the unit’s maximum armor) to the allied unit that has taken the most armor damage. If Tidal Tsunamist itself has the most damaged armor, it repairs itself. It provides consistent sustain by refreshing armor each round, often keeping a tank (especially one in the first position) alive longer against melee/ranged pressure.
At Level 8 – It unlocks its final ability calledFury.
Fury: Deals double damage to any target that has the Taunt ability. This turns it into a strong counter against Taunt tanks, potentially delivering up to 8 damage in a single hit at max level.
Her major weakness is zero base armor and only 7 health make it relatively fragile if it becomes a target (e.g., via Opportunity, Snipe, or when Sneak is disabled).
Market Value: at the moment if I am to sell my level 5, it will go for $3.12.

Overall, Tidal Tsunamist is an underrated Common that rewards players who value sustained frontline durability combined with consistent backline threat. Its Repair ability is particularly noticeable in longer games or armor-focused strategies, It is a solid, flexible addition to Water lineups that can swing close battles through armor sustain and opportunistic Sneak/Fury damage.
I am happy I upgraded her,and she has not disappointed so far.🤗
