Splinterlands: David vs Goliath Contest – I Came First!

Good morning, summoners! The grind is getting tougher as we approach the end of the season. Three days and a few hours to go, to be precise. How is it going at your end? Is your target 🎯 for the season in sight? Anyway, in Splinterlands, win or lose, there’s always something new to learn. This is @zusi78 — welcome to my blog.

Exactly a month ago, @spl-contests organized a competition and titled it "David versus Goliath",you can check it here. Last week the results were announced,and surprisingly, I came first.You can check the results breakdown here.

Today, as I logged into my Splinterlands account, I was greeted with a Standard Conclave Arcana Pack. I am so grateful to @bunsbagsandcaps — this means a lot to me. A big shout-out to this wonderful community that has really made my time on the Hive blockchain ecosystem worthwhile. An even bigger shout-out to all my warrior friends @rentmoney, @dewabrata, @atnazo, @jfang003, and a host of others. You guys have really made me so addicted to this game. Anytime I look back at my journey of just a few months on Splinterlands and what I have achieved, I am all smiles 😊.
Opening my first Standard Conclave Arcana Pack.We actually have Starter pack, Standard pack, Alchemy pack and Legendary pack.

It’s satisfying, I would say, because I got them for free — I just need more copies of them for upgrading.

The cards are — one rare and four common which are:

1 CAVEWISE WAYFINDER(At level 1). A melee attack monster of the fire element.

At full max,this is how it would become, with the following abilities: Weary, Ambush,Void and enraged.

2 SWIFTBEARD STOUT(At level 1).A ranged attack monster of the fire element as well.
At full max,this is how it would become, with the following abilities: Taunt,Bloodline Tribute,Backfire and Blast.

3 STEPPE STALKER(At level 1).A ranged attack monster from the water element.

At full max,this is how it would become, with the following abilities: Close ranged,Slow,Painforge and Shield.

4 CARAVAN GUARD(At level 1).A ranged attack monster from the life element.

At full max,this is how it would become, with the following abilities: Triage,Headswind and Echo.

5 FENMOOR GORGON (At level 1).A magic attack monster from the death element.
At full max,this is how it would become, with the following abilities: Demoralize, Cripple and Execute.

All I have to say is that these are some of the rewards the #Splinterlands community gives to players who show up consistently and keep playing the game.
