PIZZA 2 Brawl Report - 6 Feb 2026
Greetings everyone, how is everyone doing? The week is almost over and weekends are fast upon us. The latest brawl that my guild PIZZA 2 participated in had ended about a day ago and it is time again to look at how our guild did for this brawl on all aspects such as a guild, individually how each of the brawl matches went for me and the thoughts and decisions made behind how I setup each lineup against all the opponents that I am facing in the brawl and how I adjusted each lineup to we get the most out of each ruleset.
Right now my focus and fray to be competing in will be the ones with Conclave Arcana and Rebellion which is either fray 4 or 5. I started gathering more Conclave Arcana and Rebellion cards so as to strengthen my modern ranked battle games and at the same time, will allow me more versatility to handle each ruleset and hopefully these cards can help me a little in the brawls. To consistently remind myself, I cannot be just using the same old cards at the same level without growth as other players will grow and become stronger. So let's get right on with the brawl report.

| Selection: | Heavy Metal, Tis But Scratches and Camouflage. A very low mana match and hence I couldn't do much in terms selecting cards to fight. I max out what I could and used Chinmey Wallstop to try and overpower my opponents. |
| Outcome: | Win! Wow, this is interesting because opponent used Chinmey Wallstop as well. But the key decider I had was that additional armour granted by the archon I used and it did well to fend off damage before striking to victory. |

| Selection: | Earthquake, Hey Jealousy and Holy Protection. I was a little surprised to see this ruleset but I just setup what I typically setup, Helheim Demon and Arachne Weaver combo while have some strong frontal assualt from Tatiana Blayde. |
| Outcome: | Win! I guess sometimes having some healing is the key to outlast the assault which proved many times that a little more runway will do good. |

| Selection: | Equalizer, Stampede, Melee Mayhem. This ruleset calls for more melee attackers which I added so as to capitalize the benefit of the ruleset. The biggest and craziest melee attackers all selected. |
| Outcome: | Win! While opponent had a good mix of cards, I had a bigger group of strong melee cards that saw through the victory. |

| Selection: | Rise of commons and heavy hitters. In this, I planned for various cards with Captain Katie the intent to strike well from the middle and sniping off opponent cards with also a healer to support. |
| Outcome: | Lose. Bad move from me because Katrelba just crushed me from the rear with Endless Ape just gathering more health through scavenge and making it tough for me. |

| Selection: | Now you see me and stampede. Low mana, I can only depend on Quora |
| Outcome: | Win! We had just enough to power through with Quora and disabling opponent's one with archon reducing 1 magic attack. |
Guild Final Tally
This brawl I am assigned 7 matches and I managed to win 6 of them and lost 1 with 2 of my opponents fleeing. And amongst it, there are also 2 free wins due to unfilled brawls from other guilds. Not too bad a result for this brawl. Bad mistake from me for the loss to just trying to depend on Captain Katie.
For this brawl, we ended up being placed at 7th position. While many of us had very strong win rates, the lack of participation with only 5 pax cost us the brawl to be unable to land at a higher position. But still, I would like to thank my guild members whom participated with the good win rate achieved. Go PIZZA 2!
Closing
Fewer people participate within the guild for multiple brawls counting and it is taking a toll on our SPS earned and ranking. I am starting to see more people coming back to brawl which is a good sign for us!
