PIZZA 2 Brawl Report -5 May 2025
Greetings everyone, on to a new month as we embark our brawls into the month of May. Another 6 days till the end of the Conclave Arcana presale. Things are looking to heat up with many packs already sold and I am really excited with what it is to come upon the full release of Conclave Arcana. And I am also certain that there will be new brawl frays for Conclave Arcana coming so let's see how things turn out. The latest brawl which my guild PIZZA 2 participated in had ended approximately just a few moments ago, serving piping hot and it is time again to look at how our guild did for this brawl on all aspects such as a guild, individually how each of the brawl matches went for me and the thoughts and decisions made behind how I put up each of my lineup to face my opponent based on the rulesets.
Since the start of Rebellion introduction, I have now changed my Brawl Fray to Fray 4 for my guild which is the fray that uses only Chaos Legion, Riftwatchers and Rebellion Cards. This is very beneficial for me because now that I only play in modern for my daily ranked battles, competing brawl in this format will be just like playing a normal rank battle. By participating in this modern fray, I will be exposed to more rulesets to refine my playing in daily rank matches. I have gotten more cards from the last end of season, hopefully there are opportunities for me to use them. Let's get right on to the battles of the brawl.

| Selection: | Maneuver, Lost Legendaries and Blood and Sunder. A lineup that allows us to manage to put Quora in as she will be able to strike by hiding behind Grund. With Quora hiding behind and also a whole load of other melee attacker in the lineup and having taunt/heal method, we should be able to secure the match with ease. |
| Outcome: | Win! We had what we need and the diversion through taunt is instrumental in the match up to allow me more time to let Quora grow. Nice match and definitely a close shave. |

| Selection: | Reverse speed, what doesn't kill you, odd ones out. Key consideration is selecting the lineup will be to get things that are really slow and can allow you to strike first before your opponents can do so and that is to select stuff that are really slow. I went with Fire Splinter which contained most of my slower cards which are mainly melee cards such as Grum Flameblade and Radiated Brute. I also had other debbuffer auch as Disintegrator. |
| Outcome: | Win! Another nice win as my cards that I fielded were slower than what my opponent had. With the ruleset, we struck first and made sure we can land some good strikes before clearing house and claiming the victory. |

| Selection: | What doesn't kill you, high five and equalizer. Rule of thumb for equalizer, fill your lineup as much as you can as every additional card will be an extra benefit. I spread out all 17 mana and put in smaller cards so that there is enough to go around. No Oshannus no other big guns, pure outrght power division to have enough. |
| Outcome: | Win! Everything was within expectation which a couple of moments at risk of being killed ahead and not getting the win. A close shave in the end and we come in victorious! |
Guild Final Tally
I was assigned 3 matches for this brawl and won all 3 matches securing yet another clean sweep for myself. There are also 5 other wins given due to frays not being filled by my opponent. .
We've ride the storm and bounce back from the deep and secured ourselves at position 4. In terms of wins, we definitely is short of sufficient wins for at least 30+ wins required. We need to really get more people in as we are struggling to get more wins. The filling up of frays alone will help chalk up the wins because some other guilds did not fill fully. We have really strong fighters already in the guild with good track record, all we need will be any new players to join us and grow together. Go PIZZA 2!
