PIZZA 2 Brawl Report - 28 July 2025
Greetings everyone, the latest brawl which my guild PIZZA 2 participated in had ended a couple of hours ago and it is time again to look at how our guild did for this brawl on all aspects such as a guild, individually how each of the brawl matches went for me and the thoughts and decisions made behind how I setup my lineup against all the opponents that I am facing and how I adjust my lineup to ensure the rulesets are being taken cared of.
Conclave Arcana frays are live in brawl, the modern fray is no longer Chaos Legion and Rebellion but now it will be Conclave Arcana and Rebellion which is either fray 3 or 4. I started gathering more Conclave Arcana and Rebellion cards so as to strengthen my modern ranked battle games and at the same time, will allow me more versatility to handle each ruleset and hopefully these cards can help me a little in the brawls. So let's get right on with the brawl report.
Brawl 1

| Selection: | Equalizer, Blood and Sunder and then Up to Eleven. Interesting combination but the key ruleset to put focus on is the equalizer. But with a large mana pool, just pick cards that will hit hard and that should work. Since everyone start at the same health, having a healer within the lineup will be a key factor to victory to outlast your opponent. |
| Outcome: | Win! Most of my hitters are large hitters and with the taunt on Helheim Demon with Arachne Weaver, the hitters cleared off opponent cards while getting healed up. A nice victory for this match. |

| Selection: | Fog of war and wands out. Thankfully Quora not banished, in such a matchup, Quora is very important because she can heal and strike with melee as well. I used the elf bloodline Archon because she can reduce 1 magic attack. |
| Outcome: | Win! In an almost similar matchup, my choice of going with the archon that reduces magic attack worked well as I gather advantage for my Quora over my opponent's as we cleared them out. |

| Selection: | Noxious Fumes, Holy Protection and Broken Arrow. For this set of ruleset, the problematic one will be the noxious fumes, if we do have some kind of immunity that will be good, otherwise, the goal is to outlast opponent. Similar to previous match, elf bloodline archon was selected for the magic attack reduction while other cards in the lineup also had cards that had elf bloodline synergy for execute and some other slightly higher health cards to form the full lineup. |
| Outcome: | Win! This magic reduction is so handy and also with the cards slamming in hard, we manage to claim a quick victory after opponent cards are being poisoned to death. Thankful to be able to use the Elf archon which is really good in this context as we are able to reduce the efficacy of opponent's Quora. |

| Selection: | Briar Patch, Explosive Weaponry and Stampede. Key here is really to avoid using melee which can self destruct very quickly considering there is also blast that is active. I fielded my trusty death and dragon lineup with the taunt and heal and some bigger attackers like Night Reaper and the ever dangerous Larissa. |
| Outcome: | Win! Opponent had too many melee cards and ate a truck load of thorns as I manage to win over my opponent lineup with a breeze with Larissa also having loads of fun. |
Brawl 5

| Selection: | Tis but scratches, Aim True, Melee Mayhem. I just throw in all my cards that have can do me good in terms of attacks for this ruleset since everything will hit and Quora is definitely chosen to lead the lineup. |
| Outcome: | Win! A strong performance with every card contributing as we clear off card by card. Quora is such a gem for almost any ruleset. |
Guild Final Tally
I was assigned 7 matches for this brawl and won 7 out of the 7 of which included 2 fleeing opponents. On top of that, an additional 2 match won due to lack of participation from other guilds. And yes, it is another brawl that I manage to obtain a clean sweep. Hoping to get more in the future.
Another strong performance by the guild and this time round, we even managed to sustain top 4. Thankful that we had a few more players participating in this brawl, hope we can continue this trend and attract more to join us.
Closing
We are lacking players whom can just join us and participate. It will be a bonus if you have a good collection of Conclave Arcana cards since those frays are poorly filled right now or even if you do not, just joining the fray could already help improve our guild win rate. Do check us out in the PIZZA discord and check with the guild officers to gain entry to the guild.
