PIZZA 2 Brawl Report - 27 June 2025
Greetings everyone, the latest brawl which my guild PIZZA 2 participated in had ended approximately a day ago and it is time again to look at how our guild did for this brawl on all aspects such as a guild, individually how each of the brawl matches went for me and the thoughts and decisions made behind how I put up each of my lineup to face my opponent based on the rulesets. I've managed to keep myself consistent in terms of fielding in my lineup for the brawl but realized there was a small problem encountered during this brawl which I will need to address before the next brawl.
Conclave Arcana frays are live, the modern fray is no longer Chaos Legion and Rebellion but now it will be Conclave Arcana and Rebellion which is fray 3. I am starting to gather some cards from Conclave Arcana so it's time to dive into competing in brawls with Conclave Arcana and Rebellion cards for the modern fray. One thing to note for future brawls in this fray for me is that foundation summoners cannot be used in this fray and I will need proper Rebellion or Conclave Arcana summoners in order to fill a lineup. Otherwise it will be a walkover and my opponent gets a free win. Without further ado, let's move to the various matches.

| Selection: | Lost Magic and Aimless. A ruleset that will call upon all the toughest melee and range cards. For me, I used the ruthlessness of elves with their execution and also used a strong Gladius in Katrelba to help me with some physical advantage with the double sneak attack. |
| Outcome: | Win! With the elves adding pressure on top of Katrelba, it is quite easy to push through my opponent as each attack gives a pocket of opportunity for the execution to trigger and land hard on my opponent. |

| Selection: | Born Again and Close Range. With this ruleset, it will be beneficial for us to use range attackers and so far the bloodline for Orc has quite a number of them and so I decided to put them up for this match. Of course I also included Tatina Blayde which is superb for such matches though she already have close range. |
| Outcome: | Win! Enraged orcs are not easy to handle as they will harder and with Commander Slade holding the front line, it is tough for my opponent to get sufficiently close to me as we continue to melt each of them down with ease. |

| Selection: | Target Practice, Counterspell and Earthquake. Very intensive rulesets which really limits the use on the bulk on many cards. For this, I had Wood Troll to handle all the flying cards since there should be some knowning that it is going to be an earthquake setup. For me the rest of the cards is to capitalize the low health after earthquake to land more damage. And of course Quora with self healing to lead the charge. |
| Outcome: | Win! Really working well to the plan with the cards delivering key strikes to nail the victory and showcasing how strong they are. |

| Selection: | Wands Out, Earthquake and Aimless. This was something that I enjoy back then but with the new modern, I seriously lack sufficient cards to chalk up the mana. |
| Outcome: | Lose. When I saw Captain Katie, I knew I was in trouble and indeed she is the difference and made it hard for me to turn the match. |
Guild Final Tally
I was assigned 6 matches for this brawl and won all 4 matches. Lost 2 match, 1 due to me not having a proper summoner and the other is due to. a limited collection. 3 additional wins from fleeing opponents.
Unfortunately, we landed at rank 6 for this brawls. We did what we could as there is still learning for us and we are trying to become better with each brawl as we learn more about Conclave Arcana.
