PIZZA 2 Brawl Report - 23 Dec 2025
Greetings everyone, hope you had started your week well and the latest brawl which my guild PIZZA 2 participated in had ended just about a day ago and it is time again to look at how our guild did for this brawl on all aspects such as a guild, individually how each of the brawl matches went for me and the thoughts and decisions made behind how I setup each lineup against all the opponents that I am facing in the brawl and how I adjusted each lineup to we get the most out of each ruleset. Just came back from a trip, with my wife going down to stomach flu and I myself not feeling too good as well. And I also want to say that, I have now solved the possible issue of not filling up frays from Conclave Arcana because I manage to get the last Death Splinter Archon that I didn't had for quite a while.
Right now my focus and fray to be competing in will be the ones with Conclave Arcana and Rebellion which is either fray 4 or 5. I started gathering more Conclave Arcana and Rebellion cards so as to strengthen my modern ranked battle games and at the same time, will allow me more versatility to handle each ruleset and hopefully these cards can help me a little in the brawls. To consistently remind myself, I cannot be just using the same old cards at the same level without growth as other players will grow and become stronger. So let's get right on with the brawl report.

| Selection: | Global warming, odd one out and armoured up. For this, I guess the only way is to out last everybody. So for this match, I use cards with higher health and at the same time Meriput Magician to put through some healing to buy more time. |
| Outcome: | Win! I was able to out last as intended and a couple of opponent cards were on much lower health so overall strategy worked and we came up with the win! |

| Selection: | No pain no gain, at the eleven and reverse speed. Super low mana but with so many ruleset. Quite honestly I was at a loss on what to field, but some instinct told.me to use Arcane Skinwalker with magic to blast my opponent. |
| Outcome: | Win! Phew, opponent used a melee card which the additional armour given by the archon came in handy and fend off those attack and we secured victory! |

| Selection: | Noxious Fumes, heavy metal and four's a crowd. Noxious fumes means more health and on it, I also used immunity to ensure I can outlast a little more. Remaining cards in the lineup are a little higher in health other than a single one to fill the gap. |
| Outcome: | Win! A combination of immunity on the tank and added pressure from Thraghun and Helheim Demon soaking the damage really helped give me advantage to get a win. |

| Selection: | Armoured up, arcane dampening and reverse speed. After so many matches, finally there is earth splinter and I can finally call upon Quora. While it is reverse speed and not in favour of Quora, I still think she can settle them all before reverse speed effects will hit us. |
| Outcome: | Win! Easy win with Quora leading the lineup and just clearing out everything that blocks her way and giving us a good win! |

| Selection: | Standard ruleset. No rules and earth, time for another Quora led lineup and this time round, I supported her with an array of elves and Pallus to strike from 2nd position. |
| Outcome: | Win! The elves just gave their all with their relentless attack that aided Quora and push through every single card on my opponent's lineup and secure a very strong and convincing win. |

| Selection: | Weak Magic, arcane dampening and healed out. This could have been an auto surrender should I not prepare the archon and it came in time. However, I did a foolish thing because I was so into the combo of Arachne Weaver and Helheim Demon that I forget there is no healing. But nevertheless, the remaining range cards all have close range and able to hit from the front, maximizing the number of cards I can use and even using them right at the front. |
| Outcome: | Win! Debut brawl for my archon and it brought me the needed victory and overcoming one of my biggest pain point previously or not having a death archon that I can use that is not foundation. |
Guild Final Tally
This brawl I am assigned 6 matches and I managed to win all 6 of them, no escapes and no additional wins from unfilled frays. And yes, another clean sweep secured and so glad to do so! Apologies, I had to use this interface as I forget to capture the guild tally.
For this brawl, we are placed 7. While it looked like the win count is higher than the 2 guilds above us, but this does not capture the free wins they get from unfilled frays, so end up we are still lower in ranking with much lower points. We out guys back to fight alongside us, hoping they will be back son. Go PIZZA 2!
Closing
Fewer people participate within the guild for a 3 brawls and it is taking a toll on our SPS earned and ranking. Hopefully our buddies will come back and participate with us.
