PIZZA 2 Brawl Report -21 May 2025
Greetings everyone, the latest brawl which my guild PIZZA 2 participated in had ended approximately just a few hours ago and it is time again to look at how our guild did for this brawl on all aspects such as a guild, individually how each of the brawl matches went for me and the thoughts and decisions made behind how I put up each of my lineup to face my opponent based on the rulesets. This is the first ever brawl that Conclave Arcana is up and have its own respective frays.
And yes, now that we have Conclave Arcana, the modern fray is no longer Chaos Legion and Rebellion but now it will be Conclave Arcana and Rebelion. I have now changed my Brawl Fray to Fray 8 for my guild which is the fray that is a Wild Silver Fray. Honestly I am not exactly confident playing on this fray especially not all my cards are silver league capable and might get edged out and costing me the match. But I guess as many of us are slowing going into Conclave Arcana, in the meanwhile while the cards are built up, most of us will be going for the wild frays.

| Selection: | Rise of commons, little league and target practice. While it does seem like an easy lineup to field, the low mana cost of it actually made it a little tougher and no fields can be used. I thought I should be using Moxian Rebel method into a wild fray, so let's see if it works. |
| Outcome: | Lose. Gosh this is not a good sign. While I tried something that was a little more viable, I forgotten that this is a silver league were will have more advanced cards in abilities and stats. I lost because Xenith Monk kept healing and protected its backline even when I quickly took out Wood Nymph. |

| Selection: | Lost Legendaries, Up to Eleven and Ferocity. I put up massive non magic lineup with some of my old cards included such as Sand Worm and Mitica Headhunter whom are supposed to be good in clearing other cards with ease. |
| Outcome: | Lose. My gosh, yet another loss with opponent Thanalorian Blade taking out my Katrelaba and gaining much more advantage over me. As it further scales up and hit me harder, everything went out of control and I lost the match. |

| Selection: | Tis But Scratches, Armoured Up and Rise of Commons. For this, I was cheeky and attempted 2 Gladius and setup using Captain Katie for the main damage dealer while Helmet is there to health through scavenge and grow when possible |
| Outcome: | Win! Opponent also used gladius which is an equal pain but somehow what I had in mind just allowed me to bulldoze through all the magic damage to claim the win while Armorsmith heal my armour after they get depleted. |

| Selection: | Wands Out, Up to Eleven and Noxious Fumes. I've experience this before, so I added an extra healer to get some advantage on Quora to out heal my opponent. |
| Outcome: | Win! Everything went as plan and I manage to see my opponent's Quora off with ease with some poison aid. |

| Selection: | Magic Reflect, Stampede, Heavy Hitters. Key is mainly on Magic Reflect and I took care of it using Oshannus with void and some non magic cards. |
| Outcome: | Win! Best kind of match from a 2 attack Oshannus and Tatiana Blayde striking from the back to gain so much traction for the win. |

| Selection: | Opportunity, High Five and Noxious Fumes. Key ruleset to take care is Noxious fumes and enough big strikers to capitalize on opportunity and also prevent early death due to Noxious fumes. |
| Outcome: | Win! Coast Sentry was a beast whom just happily chew away so many health from my opponent cards to secure me a nice win. |

| Selection: | Magic Reflect and Weak Magic. Armour up and always try to repair. Which is why there is Swamp Spitter. Double strike from my Axemaster is useful as well to open up armour before direct attack. |
| Outcome: | Win! Wow, look at the lineup from my opponent. But miraculously, my lineup survived and overcome that mad lineup. |
Guild Final Tally
I was assigned 9 matches for this brawl and won 5 out of the 7 matches. There were 2 fleeing opponent and 0 additional wins from unfilled frays. A new attempt into unfamiliar fray but I am glad with my win rate and hopefully I can get even better as things goes by.
Compared to previous, we didn't have the same win rate but from what I see, we are still looking ok as we are still on more win than losses as compared to other guilds. This is definitely a new season and also we need to look at filling up frays still. But you can see how strong our base is and let's continue working hard.
