PIZZA 2 Brawl Report - 21 Mar 2026

Greetings everyone, how is everyone doing great this weekend? The latest brawl that my guild PIZZA 2 participated in had ended almost a day ago and it is time again to look at how our guild did for this brawl on all aspects such as a guild, individually how each of the brawl matches went for me and the thoughts and decisions made behind how I setup each lineup against all the opponents that I am facing in the brawl and how I adjusted each lineup to we get the most out of each ruleset. Escalation cards are now in the brawls and slowly making impact in the gameplay.

Right now my focus and fray to be competing in will be the ones with Conclave Arcana and Rebellion which is either fray 4 or 5. I started gathering more Conclave Arcana and Rebellion cards so as to strengthen my modern ranked battle games and at the same time, will allow me more versatility to handle each ruleset and hopefully these cards can help me a little in the brawls. To consistently remind myself, I cannot be just using the same old cards at the same level without growth as other players will grow and become stronger. So let's get right on with the brawl report.

Brawl 1

	Remarks
Selection:	Beefcakes and Equalizer. The amount of mana is not alot, so I had to work within boundaries. For this, I prepared Quora and Rune Acarnist to overwhelm my opponent with magic.
Outcome:	Win! A very close match with Quora edging out against the ever healing opponent which struck really hard. This escalation card is in my radar of purchase.

	Remarks
Selection:	Back to basics and earthquake. I still want to capitalize on the bloodline bonus so I loaded up a truck loads of elves and specially have them with armour. Quora led the line though she is not an elf.
Outcome:	Win! The match went well, the execute was important and we manage to come up on tops against a very strong lineup fielded by my opponent.

	Remarks
Selection:	Are You Not Entertained and Earthquake. Opportunity to field 2 gladius cards? Why not? I had Marisol and Captain Katie in this to used up most of the amana and 2 1 mana cards to take the front and back.
Outcome:	Win! This dynamic duo is too hot to handle and just steamroll through my opponent whom fielded some weird cards for this match.

Brawl 4

	Remarks
Selection:	Lost Magic. No magic means no Quora but I have a strong range card lineup for my elves. I fielded a good mix and melee and range with a bloodline tribute to boost their stats.
Outcome:	Lost. The frontline that my opponent prepared was a little tough to crack and cleared my frontline far too fast that my range cards couldn't retaliate. Tough one here.

Brawl 5

	Remarks
Selection:	Stampede and Tis but scratches. Big mana, so for sure heavy lineup. The usual big guns are selected with Quora leading and Lord Thanalor at the rear supported a bunch of other heavy attackers in the middle and having the execute bonus from elves bloodline.
Outcome:	Win! We were too big a handful, with way stronger cards and bonus, we prevailed and cleared the enemy with ease.

Guild Final Tally

This brawl I am assigned 6 matches and I managed to win 5 of them, lost 1 and with 1 escaped opponent. 1 bonus win from unfilled fray. Exactly the same result as previous. I took too lightly and lost the one match where my opponent had stronger frontline. Miscalculation from my end.

For this brawl, we ended up being placed at 7th position, an exact same telecast of previous brawl. Time to hit back the drawing board and see how to be sustainable and win more matches. Go PIZZA 2!

Closing
Fewer people participate within the guild for multiple brawls counting and it is taking a toll on our SPS earned and ranking. We've shown our capability, so let's hope our members will return and fight alongside us.
