PIZZA 2 Brawl Report - 17 Apr 2026
Greetings everyone, hope is everyone doing great as we wrap up a work week. The latest brawl that my guild PIZZA 2 participated in had ended earlier today and it is time again to look at how our guild did for this brawl on all aspects such as a guild, individually how each of the brawl matches went for me and the thoughts and decisions made behind how I setup each lineup against all the opponents that I am facing in the brawl and how I adjusted each lineup to we get the most out of each ruleset. I missed the last brawl and very sorry to my fellow guild members. I will be more mindful of the timeline for future brawls.
Right now my focus and fray to be competing in will be the ones with Conclave Arcana and Rebellion which is either fray 4 or 5. I started gathering more Conclave Arcana and Rebellion cards so as to strengthen my modern ranked battle games and at the same time, will allow me more versatility to handle each ruleset and hopefully these cards can help me a little in the brawls. To consistently remind myself, I cannot be just using the same old cards at the same level without growth as other players will grow and become stronger. So let's get right on with the brawl report.
Brawl 1

| Selection: | Rise of commons, thorns and heavy hitters. The key here is to avoid using melee cards, and to maximize my lineup with even range cards, I used Razi Clanktrap to give all my range attackers close range. |
| Outcome: | Win! I have a much bigger arsenal at my disposal when I am able to pick the right cards to win my matches and it has paid well in the result. |

| Selection: | Weak Magic and Eggceleration. 2nd ability is a seasonal ability which will make my cards hit harder with every turn. To maximize this, I had cards that are either dual attack or double strike. |
| Outcome: | Win! The careful planning of cards with multiple striking capability aided in causing more damage as each turn went by and very soon, the board started to clear and I secured a win. |

| Selection: | High five and no pain no gain. I did not have any card planned for self damage so I just went with elves and Quora which is my usual game plan and try to get my way through. |
| Outcome: | Win! Opponent also played a simple lineup but with Quora at my side, it was an easy win for me. |

| Selection: | Melee Mayhem, back to basics, broken arrow. This is the only kind of match that we do not need to use Gladius as they will not have their blood lust ability. So key is to field cards that have negative abilities during normal matches or just field some big stat card and hope for the win through melee mayhem for the damage. For me, I planned for elves to get the execute since the ability is on top of back to basics so it will still trigger as long the card is an elf. |
| Outcome: | Win! Opponent fielded a relatively weaker lineup and was easily overwhelmed by what I had and we had a good win! |
Guild Final Tally
This brawl I am assigned 5 matches and I managed to win 5 of them with 1 escaped opponent. With no losses, I am successfully in clinching a clean sweep for this brawl. So glad to get this once again after a couple of brawls with losses.
For this brawl, we ended up being placed at 6th position, I think it is quite a decent result and I believe if we become more consistent, we will definitely do better. Let's go PIZZA 2!
Closing
Glad to be getting a clean sweep again this brawl after a while. Will need to keep the consistency and be better in gameplay so as to continue this.
