PIZZA 2 Brawl Report - 11 June 2025
Greetings everyone, the latest brawl which my guild PIZZA 2 participated in had ended approximately just about a few hours ago and it is time again to look at how our guild did for this brawl on all aspects such as a guild, individually how each of the brawl matches went for me and the thoughts and decisions made behind how I put up each of my lineup to face my opponent based on the rulesets. I would like to apologize to my guild members that due to my fatigue, I missed out on putting up the teams for the last brawl. Will field in my cards earlier for future brawls and not till the last minute.
Conclave Arcana frays are live, the modern fray is no longer Chaos Legion and Rebellion but now it will be Conclave Arcana and Rebellion. I am starting to gather some cards from Conclave Arcana so it's time to dive into competing in brawls with Conclave Arcana and Rebellion cards for the modern fray. Without further ado, let's move to the various matches.
Brawl 1

| Selection: | What doesn't kill you, going the distance and aimless. When I did thought I have enough cards at my disposal, I was a little wrong when we come to such limiting rulesets where it really test the depths of my card collection. Thankfully I can use water splinter which had most of my range cards and also the orc bloodline boost. Tatiana is the strongest here being the gladius and ability to grow with blood lust. |
| Outcome: | Win! While my opponent also played Tatiana, the sheer amount and quality in my range cards manage to help me scrape past and it also calls for me to work on improving and adding more range cards in my modern collection. |

| Selection: | Heavy metal, holy protection and blood and sunder. Yet another collection limiting ruleset especially on the heavy metal part which requires me to field cards with armour. And to make matters worse, there is only 12 mana for me to work on. I attempted to put up something on my end with my elf bloodline and hope it will survive but unfortunately, I did not manage to field a gladius card which will be to my disadvantage. |
| Outcome: | Lose. While during normal gameplay, my elf blood line had brought me numerous victories, I was trounced on this because opponent used Marisol Contuma that was able to grow with each kill and fend off the damage I have delivered to it. Outclassed and the lack of summoner cards caught me cold as well. |

| Selection: | Oh my, yet another heavy metal match. While I planned for something similar on my end, this time round I manage to include Marisol Contuma and have a more decent lineup with sufficient balance all around. |
| Outcome: | Lose. Another mistake from me that I placed an attackless card right at the front to become a fodder for opponent's Marisol. While the other cards were well placed, giving Marisol chance to grow become a problem for me. Many things to review on how I do my card placement. |
Guild Final Tally
I was assigned 6 matches for this brawl and won only 1 out of the 6 matches. There were 3 fleeing opponent and 3 additional wins from unfilled frays bring the win tally to 7. I can feel it is still lacking of cards on my end and work needs to be done to get it more variety. And it is not just on the Conclave Arcana but also on the Rebellion cards.
This is a time to re-navigate ourselves and how we do our battles. So much to learn and so much to tinker around before being able to know how to field the cards. Much more variant and much harder to predict what kind of lineup we will meet on the battlefield. We came in 7th and hopefully in future we can better ourselves and do better. Go PIZZA 2!
