Community Engagement Challenge: First Conclave Arcana Conflict

Prelude
Hi all, good day to all of you. It's time again for Community Engagement Challenge. Today's topic will be looking the new Conclave Arcana Conflict which had gone live earlier this week on 16th of July. If you are not aware, Conflict is an in-game mechanism for players to earn airdrop rewards.

Conclave Arcana Conflict
In the past during the Chaos Legion releases, to qualify for airdrop rewards, all you need to do is to buy packs during the pre sale/sale period and the more you buy, the larger the chances of obtaining an airdrop card. But that is the past, right now the mechanism is a little different from before.

Players now have to actively stake Rebellion and Conclave Arcana assets such as cards and packs into the Mage Wagons. Staking assets gives chances for card airdrops.

To access conflict, click on play then click on conflicts.

Then you will be brought to this page to see what is available for this conflict.

Each conflict will last for 30 days. At the time of writing, we are about 5 days into the conflict. Stake more cards and packs and you will better your chances of getting an airdrop card. Do also note that Rebellion assets are at 50% contribution as compared to Conclave Arcana.

In order to participate in the Conflict, you need mage wagons so that you can stake your cards in it. To craft one wagon, either buy wagon kit from the market or use land resources and craft them in Artisan Quarter.

To craft a wagon kit, you will need the following:

• 40,000 Wood
• 10,000 Stone
• 4,000 Iron
• 2,500 Aura.

If you need one wagon kit from the market, it is currently selling at $5.75 per wagon kit.

Do note that each Wagon can increase available card slot by 5 and pack limit by 100. And it is important to stack those with high collection power for cards.

How To Earn Points
For cards:

Conclave Arcana - card earn points equal to its full collection power
Rebellion - card earn points equal to half its full collection power

For packs:

Conclave Arcana Standard Packs - 100 points per pack
Rebellion Standard Packs - 50 points per pack
Conclave Arcana Alchemy Pack - 300 points points per pack
Conclave Arcana Legendary Pack - 600 points per pack

What Are The Odds?
For every 100,000 points earned, you will get one chance to win in the Conflicts airdrop. This chance is equivalent to 0.125% probability of getting a card. To be guaranteed a card drop, one will need 800 chances. Not all that easy but if you have that asset and a truck load of wagons, why not?

In terms of foils, gold foil are at 4% drop rate for each card airdropped while black foils are at 0.1%. To improve the odds, potions (alchemy and midnight) can be used to double the foil drop rates.

Where are the arcane versions? 1 black foil version and 5 gold foil version will be added to the jackpot rewards.

Wagons Management
If you luck is good and you manage to get one airdrop card, one of your wagon from you fleet will become damaged and will need repair. To repair, get a wagon kit to repair and it will be just as new for your next conflict. The more airdrop cards you get, the more repairing you will need. To me, that is a happy problem, since you have gotten the airdrop card.
