Adapting to Modern: Prepare to Get More Rebellion Soul Bound Reward Cards Part 22

Prelude
Welcome back to another new post on Adapting to Modern where I look at how I crossed over from playing in Wild Battles till today focusing and getting more cards on Modern Battles, sharing with the community the struggles, the strategies and things I do to move towards playing in Modern. We are approaching towards the end of this series as I've covered almost all of the soul bound reward cards for Rebellion. I really hope the sharing that I've done in this series will be of good use to you in terms of planning and getting focus on growing the right cards to gather more victories in your day to day battles. Whatever I have collected thus far for the soul bound card have been really good for me and brought me many great victories. Let's all continue to clock up more Glint and level up these amazing cards to prepare for new sets and see how to integrate them to form a new meta. In today's post, I will continue to look at 2 Soul Bound Reward cards and give some analysis on them.

Rebellion Soul Bound Reward Cards

Today we will continue looking through another 2 new soul bound rewards card, of which both are from Neutral Splinter. Today we will look at one rare card and one epic card. Let move on to the cards themselves.

Chaos Adjutant

First card that we will look at today is the Chaos Adjutant. I do own a copy of this card. To be honest, this card hasn't been able to break into my lineup selection much especially in the 5 mana magic attacker with 1 magic attack category, there are many contenders whom will be able to make it into the selection instead of this card with Venari Wavesmith and Regal Peryton some better choices out there. I am not a big fan of scattershot so probably went down the pecking order. But in long run perhaps I will consider it maybe at highest level for the poison or at interim for the snare to take out some pesky flying cards and let them suffer earthquake together. Otherwise another situation that will give rise to me selecting this card will be neutral ruleset or magic only ruleset which this card fulfils. I will continue to attempt to play this card and see how it performs against the rest.

Halfling Refugee

Next card to look at will be Halfling Refugee, an epic neutral splinter card. Look at its stats. What a bargain in terms of all aspect of its starts. Big attack, decent speed and high health. All to good to be true? Yes because it has this weary ability which will cause it to be exhausted and miss its turn and unable to retaliate. But to be honest, 1 mana meat shield can contribute till weary % becomes too high, where can you even find such a good with such good stats. At level 3, it even get healing to allow it to have longer sustainability on the field. The best comes when there is a back to basics ruleset while this card will hit you with raw stats without the worry of being weary.

Assessment
My take and assessment will be that the two cards that were reviewed today, Chaos Adjutant will probably be a card that is might hardly make it to a lineup unless of specific ruleset but Halfling Refugee can be a key card in many lineups and if better, slot in even as a 1 mana meat shield that is so much more value than fiends. Halfling Refugee like the remaining epic cards of this series of soul bound reward cards, are certainly must haves and to a higher level if you can.

In terms of rating, Chaos Adjutant should be in the range 2.6/5 region as it is a card that can be used but fall short when cards of equivalent mana have better synergy than this card. Not a card to die for, but still usable. For Halfling Refugee, I would give it a 4.5/5. Good as filler or even as tank. Super versatile with loads of utility and very good stats to remain viable before your backline get breached.

Wrap Up
I certain feel that if you still have yet to spend any glint on cards, do consider spinning the epic rarity draw as all of the cards are really great and not to be missed.

Soul Bound Rebellion reward cards are slowly taking over battles and we should continue battling so as to get more of them through accumulating more glint. Many of these cards are just amazing which a myriad of abilities. Do not forget to stake the SPS for higher glint obtained per match and to continue levelling up summoners as well so that you can put up higher level Soul Bound Reward cards onto the battlefield.
