Prelude
Welcome back to another new post on Adapting to Modern where I look at how I crossed over from playing in Wild Battles till today focusing and getting more cards on Modern Battles, sharing with the community the struggles, the strategies and things I do to move towards playing in Modern. Relevance of Soul Bound reward cards have become more and more important in the modern gameplay as most people will have a lot of them after spending the Glint tokens they earned from the matches. And not only that, we are not only facing base cards but more of the time, facing upgraded versions of them. If we do not understand and study these cards in detail and trying our best to clock up glint and get additional copies of them, we will find our daily ranked battles becoming tougher. So let's right on to the 2 card analysis and assessment.

Rebellion Soul Bound Reward Cards

Today we will continue looking through another 2 new soul bound rewards card, of which both are from Dragon Splinter. One of them an epic and the other a legendary. Let move on to the cards themselves.

Night Reaper

First card that we will look at today is the Night Reaper. I do own a copy of this card as well. When I saw this card, I was like wow! This card is crazy especially when it is at its max level. This card has the Wingbreak ability which is newly introduced during launch of the Rebellion Soul Bound reward cards and this card absolutely wrecks flying cards on opponent side. And this is especially useful during earthquake matches where opponent will definitely load up at least 1-2 flying cards to outlast their opponents. At level 3, this gains Reflection Shield which allows it to zap with no fear of getting damage return to it. And at max level, this card gets Last Stand. An ability that is less seen recently but a very strong one, remembering the days of Kron-Llama but not as broken as them. A really solid card that has amazing stats with a good set of complimentary abilities to ensure strong sustainability.

Syrenth

Next card to look at will be a legendary card from Dragon Splinter, Syrenth. Being a legendary card, it does pack itself with loads of amazing abilities and stats. This card is a really nice taunt range card for Dragon splinter and it gains dodge as it levels up, followed by return fire and finally stun. With the taunt and dodge, it will do good in non magic matchup. If being volleyed by magic, it might not hold as long as we intend for it to be. But if being slammed with range attacks at level 3, the return fire will do us good and return the favour to its enemies. At the peak of this card, a 4 attack with stun will be something one would not like to face as it is painful and disables the card it lands on. A relatively good card that adds an additional path for dragon splinter gameplay. Though not as exciting as Night Reaper.

Assessment
My take and assessment will be that the two cards that were reviewed today, both cards are very strong additions to the dragon splinter which Night Reaper being the one that is more exciting. Both do have strong complimentary abilities to ensure strong value from both cards. But the strength of Night Reaper looks really so good and become a very scary opponent to face in earthquake matches. Syrenth will become a range volley commander and nail opponent hard with big range attack while attempting to keep other cards in the lineup safe.

In terms of rating, Night Reaper should be in the range 4.5/5 region due to that the fact from Level 1 all the way to max Level, I do feel strongly on the strength of this card and it will only get better and better as we level it up. For Syrenth, I would give it a 4/5. Good, stable and definitely gives additional dimension to how we play Dragon Splinter. With the emergence of range only battles, having such a card is really amazing. Might not have the same level of impressiveness as the Night Reaper, but one will never say no to such a strong card.

Wrap Up
As we slowly discover and learn more about the Soul Bound Rebellion reward cards, continue battling so as to get more. Many of these cards are just amazing which a myriad of abilities. What a journey we had looking through all these amazing cards which can be obtained by anyone as long they are active. Let's continue to gather more glint from our battles to level them up and get them to become stronger in the battle field as we grow our collection. Do not forget to stake the SPS for higher glint obtained per match.
