Adapting to Modern: Prepare to Get More Rebellion Soul Bound Reward Cards Part 18

Prelude
Welcome back to another new post on Adapting to Modern where I look at how I crossed over from playing in Wild Battles till today focusing and getting more cards on Modern Battles, sharing with the community the struggles, the strategies and things I do to move towards playing in Modern. I am amazed how we have come so far with this series and we have covered so many cards. And as I cover the cards, I am also slowly getting hold most of them. For now, I am focusing on trying to get more of the epic cards but I will start looking at pulling more random chest in hope to get more legendary cards into my collection. Hopefully I can get more glint and be able to pull much more chest to get more cards. Up till today, I realize I haven't even once hit the jackpot in the chest. Hoping I have a chance to land one soon.

Rebellion Soul Bound Reward Cards

Today we will continue looking through another 2 new soul bound rewards card from Death Splinter of which one of them is an epic while the other is a legendary. So let's begin today's sharing.

Arachne Weaver

First card that we will look at today is the Arachne Weaver. I do own this card and I would like to say how good this card is. A card that might leave you confused why would one will even consider because of the ability whereby you get healed but health being reduced by 1 each time the healing happen. While it kills longevity for matches with the reduced health but the key that we need to understand is how we can effectively end the game fast by just a little boost in healing from this card. Sometimes all we need is a small heal to sustain through and turn the match in our favour and when that is done, you are already in the driver seat to notch the win. Not forgetting this card by itself had a good 2 magic damage at base level. This is a card that you have to try it to understand how it works. As it levels up, it even gain scavenge which is amazing since many things would have been killed by then and this card will stand up on top. One really good addition to the death splinter.

Grifzi

Next card to look at will be a legendary death splinter card, Grifzi. This is card is good because it is a 1 mana sneak card. 1 more mana than usual fiend but able to have a sneak ability. And when moving to higher levels, it can even have 2 melee attack which adds so much more value. When you have a slot for a one mana card, this card fills in so nicely, this is definitely one of the better ones among the legendary series of 1 mana cards as sneak gives more utility than some of the other abilities on the other cards. Same like fiends, such cards are legendary tier. I do hope I can have more of them to level up and have better combat value for them.

Assessment
My take and assessment will be that the two cards that were reviewed today, both of them are really useful and will be commonly used in matches, be it on Weaver or Grifzi. One is a strong card that elevates the team, the other is a utility card that can slot into almost any lineup to give good value. I am really glad that death has now such strong cards to elevate its battle gameplay.

In terms of rating, Arachne Weaver should be in the range 4/5 region due to that corrupted healing that brought about a new way of playing death with quick healing and landing strong reversal to matches whom just needed a small boost of healing to win the game while Grifzi also added a new option to filling up voids when we need to fill up the empty spaces or when there is unused mana to be used and being a sneak card, it can be planted in position of safety and do good value. Rating of this card should also be 4/5.

Wrap Up
I have almost done up all the coloured splinter and moving towards the dragon splinter. What a journey we had looking through all these amazing cards which can be obtained by anyone as long they are active. Let's continue to gather more glint to level them up and get them more viable in the battle field as we grow our collection.
