Adapting to Modern: Getting to Know Your Rebellion Core Set Part 18

Prelude
A brand new week has started and welcome back to another new post on Adapting to Modern where I look at how I crossed over from playing in Wild Battles till today focusing and getting more cards on Modern Battles, sharing with the community the struggles, the strategies and things I do to move towards playing in Modern. Conclave Arcana had been in our midst for a few weeks now, I believe many have started diving into the new cards and looking into how to integrate existing cards with the new ones. I like how it is on the integration of cards of Rebellion and Conclave Arcana, so many combo and so many ways to lineup the cards. But many a times, we did not manage to dive into the cards and study them proper, so we should definitely spend some time on them.

Rebellion Core Set Cards

Similar to the previous post for this series, we will begin discussing card from the Rebellion Core Set. Using a similar method when I reviewed the Soul Bound reward cards, I will be discussing about the growth of the cards and will give a simple review to whether or not investing into them will level up your game play or not. And let's continue our review and look at 2 common cards from life splinter in today's review.

Aria Bandit

The first life splinter common card that we will reviewing today will be Aria Bandit. A very simple card that scales decently on its stats for speed and health and goes all the way to 3 range attack. Abilities for this card is consistent from level 1 with both snipe and dodge. I would say this is a good card to put at the end since it can effectively dodge those pesky sneaky and opportunity cards. And it also has snipe to help clear out other cards while standing strong. A card that I really think is simple enough for us to stock up and capable of using for it for little league.

Albahoo Forester

The next card we will look at will be Albahoo Forester. Interesting card that has no attack but packs a whole load of abilities. It started with return fire at lower levels till it gets triage which is a great ability to have and as it scales up this card gains a great deal of health for longer sustenance and at final level gaining true shot. Not sure why we will need true shot, unless we are allowing this card to weapon training from cards that give range or melee attack. Nevertheless, this card at 2 mana is such a good deal. When being weapon trained, this is a card that will give loads of problems to opponent. Another worthy card to stock up especially you have already stocked up cards that can weapon train.

Assessment
2 common cards that can really scale themselves up and both qualify for little league. Honestly, I really think these are 2 cards that will make good ready candidates in collection and be called upon for specific needs. Both cards are not expensive and worthy purchases that can make a difference in matches considering the low mana cost for both of them.

Rating wise, I would like to give both cards above average ratings with Alabhoo Forester getting a better rating out of the 2. For Aria Bandit, I am going to give it a 3.7/5 considering its good stats and consistent ability available right at level 1. A pain in the neck for opponents whom use slower cards. Next will be for Alabohoo Forester whom I think should deserve a 4.0/5 considering the super low mana cost and at higher levels having triage is a wonderful ability for the whole team and it also give so much more endurance for the team. Upon weapon trained, this card will get even more value which will be a pain for others.

Both are awesome cards to own and at current market value, they are both not expensive and hence if able, should stock up a little on them and get your collection sufficiently buffed up for the ranked battles.

Wrap Up
I have started looking into the Rebellion core set cards that we need to start building up to prepare for the new set that will be coming in when Chaos Legion gets rotated out. I do hope that with the Conclave Arcana already amongst us, we already have more players playing and more market movement for everyone to earn and grow together. Remember, if you are uncertain, there is training mode available for you to test these card out and try out how it can perform before purchasing or renting.
