Battle report: Settled for a draw

This was quite a unique battle. Because of the ruleset, Odd ones out, cards that had an odd number for mana cost were the only available cards. Due to this ruleset and the mana cap, which was 27, I chose to go for Kelya Frendul as summoner, which was an unusual choice for me.

Let's get into my line up:

My summoner was Kelya Frendul. This water summoner adds an extra armor and speed to all friendly units. Due to the ruleset, Kelya Frendul seemed to be the best summoner to give me access to the perfect monsters for this Battle.

In the first position was the neutral monster, Disintegrator. I chose it for this position because it has the armor and health to withstand attacks in that position. In addition, it has the melee attack type and the Demoralize ability.

In the second position, I put the flying quid. Initially, I wanted to put this monster in the first position since it had all the stats that made it perfect as a tank, but I made a strategic decision to put it in the second position because of its reach ability. Since it is a melee attack type of monster, this reach ability give it the capacity to attack from the second position. In addition, it has a massive health of 8.

Hardy Stonefish occupied the third position. This monster doesn't have impressive stats but I put it in there to add whatever it could to my the attack as well as to fill in the number.

I put the Angelic Madarin in the fourth position. This is a ranged attack monster that has a low attack power of 1, but I still put it in my line up because of its impressive health of 5, and the fact that it adds to the attack as well.

In the fifth position was Merdaali Guardian. This monster has no attack but it is one of the most strategic cards I put in this battle because of its tank heal ability. With that ability, it kept restoring the health of my tank every round.

I put the Chaos agent in the fifth position. This neutral monster doesn't have an attack as well. It also has a health of just 1. So it's obvious I added this monster to add up to the number, since its mana cost is just 1.

My opponent has almost the exact same line up as mine. It consisted of Kelya Frendul as summoner, Disintegrator, Flying squid, Merdaali Guardian, Scavo Hireling, Hardy Stonefish and Chaos agent.

The battle remained in a stalemate each round. The enemy monsters attacked my tank but it kept getting healed by the Merdaali Guardian in my team because of its tank heal ability. The same thing happened everytime my units attacked the enemy units. My enemy's tank got healed everytime it faced attack. Both teams neutralized each other and it was obvious there wasn't going to be a clear winner. The battle ended in a draw.
