Just sharing this week's podcast from our YouTube channel.
Another week, and another wonderful guest from the Splinterlands' community.
This week, we welcomed @Giotrix, one of the Splinterlands 101 triumvirate to The People's Guild.
What did we talk about? Well, what didn't we talk about? Life, school, Tartaria, land surveying and, the subject I'd like to discuss, Soul Bound Reward cards.
Just today, after showing our EOS haul to each other, Bjangles said that these new reward cards are exceptional on so many levels and I am in total agreement.
These cards hold so much value, both in playability and financially.
However, as great as these cards are to play with, and will most likely change the meta once people start to level them up, lets talk about the financial element to them.
Only today, Tales From The Crypt Mancer showed one of his pulls from his EOS. It was Ava the Undaunted and he now has a max level gold foil of this card. This card has 52,500 CP, but, and as Tales rightly states, most importantly, 10, 000 PP.
Now with land coming, this excites me and it should be exciting you too. These are cards that will eventually become free to do as we wish. Some will be sold, and sold for a tidy sum, but it's on land that these cards are also going to be utilised.
Recently, Gold foils have been selling like hot cross buns on a winter's morning in 'dear old London Town' back in the early 1900's. People now know how important that PP is for their land.
Fortunately us here at The People's Guild are plying our trade up in Champion and those gold foils have been dropping. The chances of pulling a gold foil legendary card are so much higher in Champion, and you only need 4 of them to max them out. I saw a stream recently, where DarkestNyte said that he was considering dropping down a league from Champion, so that he could level up some of his commons because he's been getting so many legendaries!
And for those people sitting on the fence about whether to make that move up to a higher league, it's definitely something to consider, especially if you are thinking long term with land.
Soul Bound reward cards are here to stay and are providing value in so many ways. To the Splinterlands team, we salute you!
Well, I hope I have given you food for thought. Have a great week!
Enjoy!
