Rebellion Assets
I was expecting a decline in Rebellion card prices now that the Conflicts are officially over. But surprisingly, the market is still holding its value despite losing one utility for these assets. This may be in part due to the announcement of Conclave Arcana which will shift the modern legal cards.

I'm still lacking a lot in terms of the core Rebellion set. So a new strategy that I would take is to focus on the acquisition of the cheaper summoners in order to have a foundation for the next modern cycle. I would have to rely on the reward cards instead for my monster lineups. I made a post for Avina of the Wolf as my primary summoner focus. Now, let's talk about another summoner that caught my attention, Prophet Rosa.

Prophet Rosa

I've really liked General Sloan in Chaos Legion and had fun creating lineups revolving around ranged monsters like Zyriel and Pelacor Arbalest. But now in the Rebellion core set, the ranged-focused summoner is in the water splinter, Prophet Rosa. Instead of providing 1 additional damage to all ranged units, you can now choose up to two monsters that will receive 2 damage buff instead. I find this better than having 1 damage increase across all units because in a lineup, it's not ideal to have more than two or three ranged monsters since you still need a support and tank roles to fill.

Unit Combinations
Now the next thing to look for are the units that will work best with Prophet Rosa. There are lots of candidates from the Chaos Legion set, but if we're anticipating the new modern legal cards, I can only see two that work best with this summoner and they're both legendaries from the current reward cards.

Chaos Battle Mage

Chaos Battle Mage serves both as a competent damage dealer as well as a defensive unit. Having her with Rosa would result in a 5-damage ranged attack that can also pierce through enemy units. One of the main weaknesses of ranged attacks is that they get absorbed by armor. Having a unit with piercing would efficiently utilize the additional 2 damage buff from Prophet Rosa. Chaos Battle Mage also has divine shield and rebirth, which makes her a great backline defender as well.

Sergeant Grauzral

Another unit that I think will work great with Prophet Rosa is Sergeant Grauzral. Having a unit with both opportunity and blast is already overpowered, increasing that damage by 2 would inflict huge devastation to the enemy lines. I've yet to own a copy of this card and I'm looking forward to owning it one of these days.

I feel like Prophet Rosa will gain prominence once the new modern format is implemented. There are still lots of new cards that are going to be released that may possibly synergize well with Rosa and I am definitely looking forward to it.
