The first month of 2025 has gone by like a breeze and we are now in the middle of February. There are still a lot of targets that Splinterlands need to release during the first half of the year, with the major one being Conclave Arcana's official set release. With a few weeks or and months left, here are my current in-game asset acquisitions.

Splintershards

FIrst off is probably the most important asset you can hold in Splinterlands which is the SPS token. Through liquidating some assets and playing through ranked battles/ guild brawls, I'm now nearing my initial target of 50,000 SPS. Now the next milestone for me would be 100,000 which hopefully I can reach by the end of the year.

Cards
I've previously sold my card collection in favor of shifting into a land focused strategy. I've mostly been renting my deck for ranked play and guild brawls. But now that there's an opportunity to acquire cheaper assets, I'm starting to buy a few cards that I can use in land or the upcoming survival mode.

I've mentioned before that Avina is probably my most favorite Rebellion card. And with the gold foil version offered at just seven dollars, I grabbed the opportunity and bought two. Considering how good she is in some strategies, I'm expecting this to be exponentially valuable in the near future.

I also managed to purchase three copies of Kron the Undying for just five dollars each. This is probably the lowest price point I've seen this legendary card be valued at. This is just pure nostalgia for me as I've spammed Llama Kron combination most of the time back when Untamed was still in the modern format.

Land Plots

Finally, I also acquired a new land plot in Asten. It is a common lake, making my total lands now at eight. It's hard to find lands at a cheaper price on my main region which is Saragar so I'm no planning to expand my collection to different ones. But my main focus would be grain producing lands as they can be standalone productions and would be easier to manage than other resource types.

We're approaching an exciting time for Splinterlands and hopefully assets would appreciate once the updates are released. And until then, I would slowly build my holdings through Hive.
