Can We Have a Chaos Legion Only Game Mode?

Chaos Legion is such a beautiful set. There were lots of cards that have interesting abilities and were very useful in various strategies. Manny lower rarity cards also have surprisingly significant game impact especially when maxed out. I can even probably say that Chaos Legion's run was the golden age of Splinterlands. But the problem we have now with it is that the set was highly overprinted and its utility in the modern format is approaching its end.

Chaos Legion Only Format
So I have this suggestion: what if we create a third game mode to accommodate Chaos Legion and Riftwatchers cards only? It could be like a clone of the current wild format but only allowing cards with the Chaos Legion border. I believe that the entire collection of the Chaos Legion set, including the reward and promo cards, is extensive enough to allow diverse combat strategies on its own.

Reward Funding
Of course, we would need a source of funding for this new format's reward structure. And I'm thinking we can ask for the DAO fund to grant this.

The SPS.DAO account is currently sitting with a lot of in-game assets like SPS, DEC, VOUCHERS, and Rebellion/Riftwatchers packs. If we can somehow justify the release of these assets, then we can possibly ask the DAO for the prizes.

Requirements and Restrictions
Now given that having a new format would potentially cause token inflation if there were rewards given, why don't we copy the wild format and place a season pass for players? In addition, we can also make it another restriction that only owned cards can be used, no rentals. The Chaos Legion cards are overprinted and very cheap so it wouldn't be out of reach to ask players to have their own cards in order to play in this format. After all, they also have the option to play in wild if they want to just rent. Maybe we can also require participants to surrender a set amount of Chaos Legion cards based on their collective power value and have them burned. This could also help decrease the circulating supply.

Overall, Chaos Legion was the set where the game economy peaked and then plummeted as well. A lot of players got burned by the drastic devaluation of their assets to the point where most left the game. I think it would be a good gesture of appreciation if we can add an additional utility for the Chaos Legion cards once they exit the modern format, just my opinion. Thanks for reading.
