A few months back, with all the turmoil that's happening in real life, I decided to quit Splinterlands entirely and focus my attention elsewhere. But just recently, I decided to reinvest in the game as I had renewed hope for the project. As I was watching the recent town halls, I realized that Splinterlands still has a lot of potential despite all the uncertainties in the global markets.

So first off, I figured I needed to have a good amount of staked SPS as my foundation. SPS hsa always been where the true value is at. If we ever get back to popularity, this token would be the one benefiting the most, in my opinion. And with the current 8% APR, it's also a better option to park some capital than those that are offered in my country, with all the taxes and stuff. I'm currently running a bot in wild and it's good that I wouldn't need to worry about renting a lot each season.

Another good reason to stake SPS is you get to earn a couple of vouchers every day. Personally, I dislike this token as it is infinitely inflationary and is taking value away from other aspects of the game as the team has to spend resources to continously feed the shop with new card offers. But since it looks like it's here to stay, I decided to slowly put the vouchers I earn into the liquidity pool. Buying it directly from the market is not a good option for me as you will already be taxed 10% as fee. Waiting for the drips I get daily is a better way for me.

I also started to buy new lands as I sold all of them when I left. I decided to stick with just one region which is Asten (13). Building land up will be a chore as it is hard to find ones in the same region with a reasonably low price. I'll just have to wait for an opportunity when somebody sells.

Finally, as I wanted to get back into the thick of things, I opened seven Escalation packs just to try out my luck. And as expected, it was an unbelievable loss in terms of pack value. But I'm also hyped to learn what the new abilities are. I can't wait to check out these new cards and see what I would like to collect.

Happy Hunting ! , glad yo see you back
