I've taken a break from doing ranked battles this past season and focused more on other blockchain projects. But now I decided to get back into the fray and grind some more SPS and glint rewards.

Survival Mode is Here
After months of hype, survival mode is officially released to the game. And I believe there's not that many players trying it out yet as I had a longer delay in looking for matches in the wood tier.

My inaugural match for survival mode resulted in a one-sided loss. I'm also not happy to learn that soulbound reward cards were included in this mode. I wish it would be limited to just the unlocked assets as to make the stakes really when units are defeated. It would also prevent bot accounts from depleting the reward pool. I'm hoping this will change in the near future. And as of right now, the rental and card market is not experiencing a significant increase in demand.

Land Acquisition
As for my land plots, I managed to acquire another common lake in the Asten (13) region. This makes my fourth grain producing land there and I might expand to other regions after this. I'm currently targeting just grain producing as they are standalone lands where it won't require other resources to run. Grain would also be much scarcer when the 1.75 update comes around.

SPS Stake
My SPS token holdings increased by about 600 this past two weeks. This was mostly from previous ranked matches and guild brawls. I haven't really made any significant market purchases as my focus was in the land plots right now. I'd like to target 50,000 before Conclave Arcana releases and hopefully I'll make it in time.

Cracking Chaos Packs until LGF
Finally, I'd like to add a new minigame to my weekly Splinterlands post. I'd open one Chaos Legion pack each post until I crack open a legendary gold foil. This would help increase my card collection which I would eventually need when I start running my lands.

Well, I wasn't really expecting much but it's a total bust with the only rare being Djinn Apprentice. Better luck next time, I guess.
