Conflicts are coming to Conclave Arcana

Recently Splinterlands announced conflicts are coming to the Conclava Arcana(CA) cardset. For those of you who have been around since the Rebellion card set, you already know the drill. You have to stake cards, that way, you'll earn points which will make you eligible for airdrops of unique cards. Yes, we're talking about the way to earn legendary summoners, you know, the strong ones which everyone always wants to have in his deck.

Maybe you are wondering, why all this work to earn these great summoners? Well, it's a way of the Splinterlands team to make sure people are not selling off their Conclave Arcana cards right off the bat. Because people have to stake them to earn airdrop-points, not all cards will be put for sale and thus the value of the cards won't plummet right away. In my opinion it's a great way to encourage players to keep their (less) stronger cards!

A wagon can hold 5 cards and up to 100packs. You can utilize both Rebellion cards as Conclave Arcana cards and packs. Rebellion cards will give half their collection power in points whereas Conclave Arcana cards will give their total amount of collection power in points. In terms of packs, Rebellion packs will give 50 points, CA standard packs will give 100 points, CA alchemy packs will give 300 points and CA legendary packs will give 600points.

All good that you know what will give points and how much but you talked about wagons? Correct! You need to have wagons before you can stake cards / packs to earn points.

Wagons

There are two ways to get yourself more wagons. The first way is to craft them, utilizing 40,000 Wood, 10,000 Stone, 4,000 Iron and 2,500 Aura. This way you can craft a wagon kit (which are tradeable on the market as well).

The second way is to buy them utilizing DEC or credits.

Important to note is that once you receive an airdrop card, your wagon will be damaged and it has to be repaired. This costs you the same amount of resources compared to craft a new one.

What are the chances of an airdrop?

That's ofcourse the reason we participate in airdrop, because we can win something. To prepare our strategy, we need to know the numbers.

• Every 100,000 points earns you 1 entry toward the Conflict airdrop.

• Each entry has a 0.125% chance to receive the Conflict card.
• A guaranteed drop is awarded after 800 entries.
• For every 25 cards received in one Conflict, you are guaranteed 1 Gold Foil version.
• If you use alchemy potions to boost all of your chances it will be reduced to:
• For every 13 cards received in one Conflict, you are guaranteed 1 Gold Foil version.

To boost the numbers, you can utilize potions. An alchemy potion, to boost the gold card chances, increases the chance of a gold-foil from 4% to 8%. A midnight potion, to boost the black card chances, increases the chance of a black-foil from 0.1% to 0.2%. For both types of potions, 50 potions are needed for each card.

WEN?

Better be prepared as the CA conflict will already start soon. To be exact, players can start to accumulate points from July 16, 2025, at 12 PM EST. From that moment on, you can thus accumulate as much points as possible to earn as much airdrop cards as possible. As history learned us, these cards are often very powerfull and thus valuable!

I didn't know it at that time but it seemed awesome, earning money while playing games instead of spending money on those games. Soon I learned that play2earn means that you can indeed earn some money to play the games. How does it work? While playing those games, you can earn NFT's of those games. These NFT's can be traded and sold for cryptocurrencies which could be swapped for fiat if you would like to. That's how I started.
