Splinterlanes Update — The Market, priced in DEC
The Talisman Market opened on 21 September. In its first days it changed in three ways that matter if you buy or sell: prices are now in DEC, the page has separate Buy and Sell tabs, and your Talismans page shows clearly what you have listed.

Prices in DEC
Every listing is now priced in whole DEC, from 20 DEC up. Buyers pay exactly the listed DEC, or the same value in SPS at the live rate. The house takes 5% of the sale and the seller gets the rest, in whichever token the buyer used: a 20 DEC sale pays the seller 19 DEC, and a 100 DEC sale pays 95.
Before, the Market priced in US dollars and worked out the DEC at the moment someone bought, so what a seller received moved with the exchange rate. Now a price you set is the price you get paid, less the 5%.
Listed before the change? Your listing was converted to DEC once, at that day's rate, and rounded up to a whole DEC. Take a look at it on the Sell tab. To change a price, unlist the Talisman and list it again.
Buy and Sell tabs
Buy (splinterlanes.com/#market) lists every other player's Talismans. You can:
- search by any Rules Mod or Mod name;
- narrow by how many mods a Talisman carries, by Rules Mod, or by a particular Mod, and see how many listings match;
- sort by newest, cheapest first, or dearest first.
Sell (splinterlanes.com/#market/sell) starts with your own listings, each showing what it will pay you after the 5%. Below them are the Talismans you could list, with the same search and filters. That helps once you own a drawer full of them.
The page's introduction also now uses the full width of the reading column. Before, it was squeezed into the left third.
Your Talismans, marked
On your Talismans page, a listed Talisman now carries an On the Market badge with its asking price, a note that it is out of play while listed, and a link straight to the Sell tab. Before, a listed copy looked just like its unlisted twins. Now you can tell at a glance which of two identical Talismans is the one for sale.
The rule itself is unchanged: a listed Talisman is out of play until it sells or you unlist it. It leaves every Deck it was equipped to, and you play with a loaner meanwhile.
On the board
When the Market opened, there was nothing on it. On 29 September it held five listings from two players, including two with all three mods. The prices are theirs to set, so buyers now have a first sense of what a Talisman is worth.
