Hi splinter farm,
Welcome to my blog for today exciting entry into the social media challenge. Notice how I said this is exciting ? Since yesterday or so I’ve been loosing battles like mad. I’ve had one of the worse loosing streaks in this game ever. I had to refresh the page to see if the algorithm will pair me with someone I can beat but then the results were the same.
So the battle I am going to be writing about is a battle which ended my loosing streak and I must admit that I do didn’t think I’ll get it right. Loosing streak has a way of getting to you. For me I believe having a winning streak and a loosing streak are the same cause it always has you thinking you’ll loose the next battle.
So the Ruleset was quite unique. First of all we could only field 4 cards for the battle. We were only allowed to choose range cards as well. Next in line was the equaliser Ruleset which gives all cards the highest health possible of the card which has the highest.
So I went with a Thaddius brood summoner which gives minus one health and -1 magic to all enemy card. Obviously this summoner didn’t contribute a lot so I wouldn’t give it its accolades. He came with a summoner that gives an addition of 1 shield, 1 health and speed as well.
So I went with gargoya devil because of his close range and flying abilities. Next was the death ranger who I selected of his shield.
Next was supply runner who I selected to grant my cards an additional speed. And then lira the dark to give my cards another speed. It also has the opportunity ability and a speed of 6 which means it’ll definitely get to attack first.
He added 2 speed which I also did so we cancelled out each other. I already have a card with 6 speed so with an additional 2 it went up to 8. The battle was fierce until the last round.
For me what saved me was speed and boy am I glad I went with card which had speeed. Essentially the speed made him miss his attacks on me while I had the chance to attack and attack.
You can watch the game unfolded in the link here.
