Did you know that in Splinterlands there's a way to get a card for free? For players who participate in the Daily Wheel, the answer is almost here... Spark Shop!

Most of the time when you spin the Daily Wheel you win an in-game token called Sparks, and by collecting 30k of these tokens you can exchange them for one of the EXTRA cards available in the "Other" tab of the Spark Shop.

A large number of players have already reached this 30k mark or are approaching it, and one indication of this is that the cards are starting to run out. The first one that is no longer available was Buns the Unseen, and now Jolius Blast is running out...

Splinterlands Free "Extra" Cards are Running Out!

It's very curious how the market responds to changes, both in everyday life and within Splinterlands. As we mentioned before, the card Buns the Unseen, which was recently available like all the others with over 200 cards available, is now no longer available, and when that happened, the price skyrocketed.

While Jolius Blast is trading at around $1.50, Buns the Unseen is almost reaching $3. The other cards are all around $2, and Buns alone is worth double that, which is quite incredible.

One detail is that I had already commented more broadly on these new EXTRA cards from the Frontier collection, and at that time the Buns The Unseen card, even though I already considered it one of the best options because it's neutral, its price didn't reflect that at all.

Now, with players reaching the 30k sparks mark, everyone's choice was overwhelmingly Buns The Unseen, causing the 300 cards available in the store to sell out very quickly. And the most curious thing is that, by doing this, the existing card supply increased by +300, but the price of the card exploded...

This means that for the vast majority of players, of the more than 300 cards, only about 5% of that total is on the marketplace. The community really liked this card, and of course there are better cards with better stats for the same price level, but the idea of ​​it being a collectible from a community member, Buns, meant that its value wasn't just about its utility, but also as a collectible item.

Among the other options, to be honest, there are cards that are good, but they aren't as versatile and flexible as Buns, because it's of the Neutral element. However, players are increasingly reaching 30k and over time there won't be many other options left either.

Since it's from the Frontier collection, which doesn't have many cards with such high power, I believe a good option could be the Khan Feywest card, because it's a collectible character reminiscent of the Planet of the Apes movie, and its attack is the highest of all, not to mention it's magic, bypassing defenses and being usable with Obsidian reaching 4 magic damage.

As for next options, I believe I would choose between Ratbound Corsair, as it's the card with the lowest mana cost of all. It has the problem of archer damage, but that's solved with close combat. Next, the other option would be Jolius Blast, but since its price is different from the others, I might get another one to sell and then get Jolius Blast. It's a tank with a lot of HP and Void with high damage for Frontier, but the mana cost is extremely high.

É muito curioso como o mercado responde as mudanças tanto no dia a dia, como dentro do Splinterlands. Como mencionamos anteriormente, a carta Buns The Unseen que há pouco tempo estava disponível normalmente como todas as outras com mais de 200 cartas disponíveis, agora não se encontra mais, e quando isso aconteceu o preço disparou

Enquanto o Jolius Blast está sendo negociado por volta de $1,5, o Buns the Unseen está quase chegando nos $3. As outras cartas estão todas por volta de $2 e o Buns sozinho está o dobro do valor, algo bem incrível.

Um detalhe é que eu já havia comentado de forma mais ampla sobre essas novas cartas EXTRA da coleção Frontier, e nesse período a carta do Buns The Unseen, por mais que eu já achasse uma das melhores opções por ser neutral, o preço dela não refletia isso de forma nenhuma.

Agora com os jogadores chegando na marca de 30k sparks, a escolha de todos foi massivamente no Buns The Unseen fazendo com que as 300 cartas disponíveis na loja esgotassem muito rapidamente. E o mais curioso, ao fazer isso o supply de cartas existente aumentou em +300 só que o preço da carta explodiu...

Isso significa que a grande maioria dos jogadores, das mais de 300 cartas algo por volta de apenas 5% desse total está no marketplace. A comunidade realmente gostou dessa carta e claro existem cartas melhores com status melhores pelo mesmo nível de preço, mas a ideia de ser um colecionável de um participante da comunidade do jogo, o Buns, fez com que o valor não fosse da utilidade apenas, mas como um item colecionável.

Dentre as outras opções, sendo bem honesto, existem cartas que são boas, mas não são tão versáteis e flexíveis com o Buns, por ser do elemento Neutral. Entretanto, os jogadores estão cada vez mais alcançando os 30k e com o tempo não vão sobrar as próximas opções também.

Por ser da coleção Frontier, que não tem tantas cartas com poder tão alto, eu acredito que uma boa opção possa ser a carta Khan Feywest, porque é um personagem colecionável por lembrar o filme planeta dos macacos e o ataque dele é o maior dentre todos sem contar que é mágico, passando pelas defesas e poder ser utilizado com a Obsidian chegando à 4 de dano mágico.

Como próximas opções eu acredito que eu ficaria entre o Ratbound Corsair por ser a carta com menor custo de mana dentre todas, tem o problema do dano de arqueiro, mas que é resolvido com o close combate. Em seguida a próxima opção seria o Jolius Blast, mas como o preço dele está com uma diferença para os demais, então talvez pegaria outro para vender e depois pegar o Jolius Blast. Ele é um tank com bastante HP e Void com um dano alto para o Frontier, só que o custo de mana é extremamente alto.
