Splinterlands - Eggstravaganza Event!
A new event has arrived in the NFT (Non-Flight FastTrading) collectible card game, Splinterlands. As Easter approaches, the event couldn't be anything other than the well-known Splinterlands Easter event, which usually takes place around this festive period, just as we have events happening in the game on other festive dates.
Upon entering the game, your first encounter with the Easter theme will be the background screen of ranked matches, which features a colorful backdrop with eggs in yellow, pink, blue, and green scattered throughout the landscape, and a burrow in the background that may symbolize the "Easter bunny's burrow."

Eggstravaganza Modifier - Eggceleration!
The first new feature arriving with the update that brought the Eggstravaganza event to the web3 game Splinterlands is the implementation of the new Eggceleration modifier, which will be active until April 15th, at which point the event will leave Splinterlands, returning to the "normal" theme. The Eggceleration modifier will have the following effect on your matches: All units will gain +1 to ALL stats at the end of each match.
If I understand correctly, this is a very powerful effect that will take matches to a whole new level. Cards that gain +1 to all stats are extremely powerful in a match and usually come with some condition for this to happen. In the case of Bloodlust, the card with this ability needs to make the last attack and defeat an opposing unit to gain +1 to its stats, which seems easy, but usually if it misses an attack in the match, it becomes difficult to succeed for the rest of the duel.
In addition, there's also Martyr, an ability that grants +1 to adjacent units when it is defeated. Note that in both cases there is a condition for this effect to be applied. After all, +1 to all stats is very strong. This alone makes us think about what can happen in matches with Eggceleration; they will be epic.
Some tips that can help in your matches are to use tanks with a lot of HP and units with healing, because over time the HP will increase and with that the amount you will heal with each Heal will be even greater. Furthermore, try to use cards with many stats, since all of them will increase, so cards that have Shield and double attack like melee and mage. A very powerful card in this mode is Quora Towershead, because it already has two types of attack and also has Tank Heal.
Eggstravaganza "Pastel" Skins!
Finally, the other new feature that arrived in Eggstravaganza were the "Pastel" Skins. It's a bit strange since I believe players were expecting something related to Easter, perhaps a skin where the card had a bunny costume or something along those lines, but what was delivered was something different. As the name suggests, the "Pastel" skins are literally cards with pastel-colored outfits, from what I understood and could observe. It's as if the units are preparing for some formal event, which is also interesting.
Among all the cards, I felt that once again there was a lack of references to cards from previous generations, with the focus remaining only on cards from the latest releases. I don't know if this is related to the first generations already having some skins, it could be... Among the options, a card that is widely used by players and has a very different skin is Ulludin Overseer. With common rarity skins costing 600 glint and being a very versatile card as a tank with a lot of HP and the neutral element, this skin will appear many times, making the match more fun.

A primeira novidade que chega junto da atualização que trouxe o evento Eggstravaganza ao jogo web3 Splinterlands, é a implementação do novo modificador Eggceleration, que ficará ativo até o dia 15 de abril, momento em que o evento deixará o Splinterlands, para voltar à temática "normal". O modificador Eggceleration terá o seguinte efeito nas suas partidas: Todas as unidades vão ganhar +1 em TODOS os status no final de cada partida.
Se eu entendi corretamente, esse é um efeito muito poderoso e que vai deixar as partidas em um outro nível completamente. Cartas que ganha +1 em todos os status, são extremamente poderosas na partida e geralmente vem junto algum condição para que isso aconteça. No caso do Bloodlust, a carta que tem essa habilidade precisa dar o último ataque e derrotar uma unidade adversária para conseguir +1 nos seus status, o que parece ser fácil, mas geralmente se ela perde um ataque na partida, fica dificil de acertar no restante do duelo.
Além disso, há também o Martyr, uma habilidade que garante o +1 para as unidades adjacentes quando ela é derrotada. Perceba que em ambos os casos existe um condicional para que esse efeito seja aplicado. Afinal +1 em todos os status é muito forte. Só isso já nos faz pensar no que pode acontecer nas partidas com Eggceleration, serão épicas.
Algumas dicas que podem ajudar nas suas partidas é utilizar tanks com muito HP e unidades com heal, porque com o tempo o HP vai aumentar e com isso a quantidade que vai curar a cada Heal será ainda maior. Além disso, procure utilizar cartas com muitos status, já que todos eles vão aumentar, então cartas que tenham Shield e double ataque como melee e mage. Uma carta muito poderosa nessa modo é a Quora Towershead, porque ela já tem dois tipos de ataque e também tem Tank Heal.
Eggstravaganza "Pastel" Skins!
Por fim, a outra novidade que chegou no Eggstravaganza foram as Skins "Pastel". É um pouco estranho já que eu acredito que os jogadores esperavam algo relacionado à páscoa, com talvez alguma skin em que a carta tivesse uma fantasia de coelho ou algo nesse sentido, mas o que foi entrega foi algo diferente. Como o nome sugere, as skins "Pastel" são literalmente as cartas com vestimentas nas tonalidades de cor pastel pelo que eu entendi e pude observar. É como se as unidades estivessem se preparando para algum evento formal, o que é interessante também.
Dentre todas as cartas, senti que faltou mais uma vez referências as cartas de gerações anteriores, permanecendo o foco apenas nas cartas dos últimos lançamentos. Não sei se isso tem relação com as primeiras gerações já terem algumas skins, pode ser... Dentre as opções, uma carta que é muito utilizada pelos jogadores e que tem uma skin muito diferente é o Ulludin Overseer. Com as skins de raridade common custando 600 glint e sendo uma carta muito versátil por ser um tank com bastante HP e do elemento neutro, essa skin vai aparecer várias vezes, deixando a partida mais divertida.
