Moving closer to my 60k Splintershards (SPS) Goal

The governance token of this game is known as splintershards or SPS. When this token was released in 2021 that time I did not know what governance tokens were and what is their utility. For me, it was like a token which it's similar to the D E C token that we already had in the game. Later on when things started building up and more power was given to the community then I got to know what is the difference between a regular token and a governance token. Certainly, this token gets more utility in the game and some governance power also which is in the hands of the community, and this way the game is moving towards decentralization.

My goal for SPS has been since then and I'm trying to increase my balance as much as possible. Earlier I set up a goal to have 50,000 SPS but later on, I increased it to 60,000 tokens. The current balance is more than 58,000 SPS in my account and the difference is not much between what I have and what I want to have. So what I did is that I followed the strategy for reinvesting and also I kept on buying from the open market. I don't remember exactly when I started buying at what price but this was slightly higher and at that time I never even thought that SPS could go below one cent.

This market is unpredictable and with SPS we can take the perfect example that things can go in a different direction. It has happened in this case and now the SPS price is down by 99% which was never expected. The primary reason I think is behind this drop to airdrop for an entire year. People got a lot of tokens for free and they did dumping of those tokens in the market just for the sake of booking some profit. This has gone against the token economy and the result is visible now. It is hard to say what price we can expect for this coin in the Bull run market but I surely expect a price increase when the market is in a better position.

I am powering up 413 SPS tokens today. It is a regular practice that I follow and it keeps on increasing my boost multiplier for reward and because I play the game wild format it increases over there. The maximum reward multiplier is 12x and I am slightly away from 10X so there is no big gap.

This is my end-of-season reward for this season which ended just yesterday. I have got 46K tokens which is a good amount but I also hope that once I grow my SPS balance then it will move towards 50k. If I can somehow increase it to 50,000 then in one month I will be able to earn 100K tokens as part of the season-end reward. I also earn tokens with each winning battle so that way it will be good for me to earn a decent amount in reward. The new mechanism is good in the game which came through the glint tokens and I like it because now I can use the reward whenever I want.

This is the current season for me which has just started and it is running a counter where you can see more than 16 days and five hours to end this season from now. I am in the gold three leagues as of now but just the beginning because I'll be playing more battles to take it higher and that is how I do in every season. With each winning battle, I increase my rating and also it takes me to the higher league of the game where the rewards are improved but SPS holding is also important to get the higher glint boost.

So I have powered up SPS today and with this power, I have crossed the mark of 58,000 tokens. Now I am waiting for the day when I will make it 60,000 tokens but surely that is not going to be a hard stop for me. It will be just a part of the Journey and a milestone for me and I will continue to accumulate even more till the time I see the price low in the market. It is good to buy and increase the balance when the price is low in the market and not buy when the price is high but rather it is good to sell and buy back again when the price is low. So this is a good strategy in the market to increase the holding faster.
