Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge - Let's Explore Custom Challenges

Hello everybody in the hive community and to all gamers of hive. This is my second entry to the splinterlands community engagement challenge.

The task for this week's engagement challenge is to write a support article about the custom challenges. I still consider myself a relatively a new user who doesn't too much about to game so allow me to explore this feature of spl with you. First of all, how do we find this feature? On the game's homepage, you will find challenge at the top right of the screen.

After clicking on challenge, a pop up appears. This feature, challenge allows you to battle with any opponent of your choosing by simply just entering that player's splinterlands username.

There is also an allowed cards section which allows you to choose what kind of cards you and your enemy can bring. you can decide to toggle between all cards, gold cards only, alpha cards only, among others.

You can also choose summoner level caps between expert, adept, intermediate and advanced.

Let's talk about custom challenges now. With this feature, you pay an amount of 10 $DEC or 10 $CREDITS and take control of the settings of the challenge. In other words, pay 10 DEC to customize the challenge. This will allow you to set the mana cap, rulesets, and available elements for the challenge. You can also get unlimited access to this feature by staking 50K $SPS or buying a RUNI.

By clicking on more options, you can set up the custom challenge my making a payment. In this next screenshot, I have showed what you will be able to do if you pay for the custom challenge.

Try this feature out friends, challenge your friends to custom battles and see if you will enjoy them. If you are worried losing will affect your ranking, don't be. Losing or winning doesn't add to or subtract from your ranking.
