Shifting DEC to Liquidity Pools in the Simplest Steps

I am going to briefly explain the steps needed to get higher airdrops by adding DEC into the liquidity pool. This article will try to be as brief as possible.

Liquidity Pool (the very short explanation):
This is a pool of cryptocurrencies that allows users to trade between different crypto assets. You can't add a single asset to the pool, but you need to add a pair of assets for example DEC and SPS. By doing that you are providing liquidity to other users who would like to swap between those pairs!

Benefits:

Mainly you will get double the airdrop points in your splinterlands daily SPS airdrop. Note that you will lose out on SPS taking for example if you choose SPS:DEC pairing for instance.

Here I will illustrate the simplest steps to get started with your first DEC pools:

1st Step:

Login to Tribaldex here: https://tribaldex.com/dieselpools/add

Choose your exchange pools, DEC:SPS. I am doing this to calculate how many DEC I will need to transfer to add into the pool based on how many SPS I have. With 10.5 SPS it is telling me that I need to add in 395 DEC into the pool.

2nd Step:

Transfer your DEC and SPS to Hive Engine from Splinterlands.

Launch this dialog by clicking on your Dec amount on your top bar, then put in the number of DEC you would like to transfer:

Go to the SPS management page or click on the SPS balance on the top right of your game.

Choose transfer

Input the number of SPS, and transfer out to Hive Engine

3rd Step:

Go once more to : https://tribaldex.com/dieselpools/add
The balance should be updated after a short while in <1 minute or at most few minutes

Put in the amount, in my case, max SPS (whatever that is available in my hive engine wallet) and add liquidity, and you have doubled your DEC airdrop points (they will be reflected in next air drop cycle)
