How to start with Splinterlands (ENG/GER)

I've been playing Splinterlands very actively for over a year now and have played well over 11,000 games in that time.

During this time, friends of mine have also become aware of the game from time to time.

Thereby the question: "How do I start best?", was often brought to me.

For this reason I take the current Social Media Challenge as an opportunity to write down my recommendations.

Buy a reasonable Bronze Deck

To avoid spending several 100$ right at the beginning, I have advised every one of my friends so far to buy one or two good Bronze Decks. If the corresponding elements are not playable in a game, then you play these rounds with your starter cards and get no rewards.

Personally, I would start with the elements Water or Earth.
Both elements are very strong in the Bronze League and offer some cheap cards that add a lot of value. I will write my recommended level behind it on all cards.

Which cards would I definitely buy?

Here I would like to give two short lists each of which cards I would buy per element.

Neutral cards for refinement

In addition to the elements, I always recommend some neutral cards as well. These have the advantage of enhancing your purchased decks. Plus, with the other elements, you don't have to play with just starter cards and you get at least a few rewards from them.

Summary cards

At first glance, this is a lot of cards. However, you will find that most of the cards are very cheap and cost only a few cents. So the capital to be invested is very limited compared to the number of cards. If you buy the cards at the recommended level, you will quickly be able to compete in Bronze 2.

Buy SPS

The last thing we have to mention is SPS. For a few months now, rewards have been dependent on the amount of staked SPS. Therefore, it is necessary to rent or buy a certain amount of SPS. For the beginning 1.000 SPS (currently about 17$) should be enough.

Conclusion

Especially for beginners, the start in Splinterlands is often a bit "bumpy", but it's worth it. If you are willing to spend 30 to 40$, you will get a solid start in one of the best Web3 games. This makes the start even more fun.

Seit über einem Jahr spiele ich nun sehr aktiv Splinterlands und habe in dieser Zeit deutlich mehr als 11.000 Spiele gespielt.

In dieser Zeit sind auch immer mal wieder Freunde von mir auf das Spiel aufmerksam geworden.

Dadurch wurde des Öfteren die Frage:"Wie starte ich am besten?", an mich heran getragen.

Aus diesem Grund nehme ich die aktuelle Social Media Challenge zum Anlass, meine Empfehlungen aufzuschreiben.

Kauft ein vernünftiges Bronze Deck

Um nicht gleich am Anfang mehrere 100$ auszugeben, habe ich bisher jeden meiner Freunde geraten, ein oder zwei gute Bronze Decks zu kaufen. Sollten die entsprechende Elemente in einem Game mal nicht spielbar sein, dann spielt man diese Runden mit seinen Starterkarten und erhält keine Rewards.

Ich persönlich würde mit den Elementen Water oder Earth starten.
Beide Elemente sind in der Bronze Liga sehr stark und bieten einige günstige Karten, die einen hohen Mehrwert bieten. Ich werde bei allen Karten mein empfohlenes Level dahinter schreiben.

Welche Karten würde ich unbedingt kaufen?

Neutrale Karten zum Verfeinern

Zusätzlich zu den Elementen empfehle ich auch immer einige neutrale Karten. Diese haben den Vorteil, dass sie eure gekauften Decks erweitern. Außerdem muss man bei den anderen Elementen nicht nur mit Starterkarten spielen und erhält dadurch zumindest ein paar Rewards.

Zusammenfassung Karten

Auf den ersten Blick sind das viele Karten. In der Anschaffung wirst du aber feststellen, dass die meisten Karten sehr günstig sind und nur wenige Cents Kosten. Das einzusetzende Kapital hält sich also im Vergleich zu der Kartenanzahl sehr in Grenzen. Wenn du die Karten auf dem empfohlenen Level kaufst, wirst du aber trotzdem schnell in der Lage sein, dich in Bronze 2 zu behaupten.

SPS kaufen

Als letztes müssen wir aber auch noch auf die SPS eingehen. Seit einigen Monaten sind Rewards von der Höhe der staked SPS abhängig. Daher ist es nötig eine gewisse Anzahl an SPS zu mieten oder zu kaufen. Für den Anfang sollten hier 1.000 SPS (aktuell ca. 17$) reichen.

Fazit

Gerade für Einsteiger ist der Start in Splinterlands oft ein bisschen "holprig", aber es lohnt sich. Wer bereit ist 30 bis 40$ auszugeben, schafft einen soliden Einstieg in eines der besten Web3 Games. So macht der Start gleich noch mehr Spaß.
