Hey everyone, it's a Saturday today so it's about time to make my second entry to take part in this weeks challenges, and to be honest, I kinda forgot about making my post this morning! π
It was a busy day with household chores and making a new internet cable under the house to have a solid connection on the other side of the room, but... now finally - it's blogging time so here we go!
Share a battle where you pulled off a win with lower mana or against a stacked lineup you thought you couldnβt beat.
Break down the strategy you used, the key turning point, and what made the match so satisfying.
Bonus points for creative storytelling β how did it feel to snatch victory when the odds were against you?
This theme celebrates the heart of Splinterlands β strategy, grit, and a little bit of luck. Everyone loves an underdog story, and now itβs your chance to tell yours.
π Whether it was clever card placement, a ruleset twist, or pure determination, we want to hear about the times you turned the impossible into victory!
To find out how you can participate in this weeks challenge yourself, you can find the official Splinterlands post here.
So, this morning before all madness started, I woke up a little bit before the rest of the family so I could at least drain some battle energy to make sure it didn't reach 50 and waste any of it, I got THREE opponents in a row from the same guild with all max decks, I'm playing with a Silver deck so it's no surprise I lost against most of them but I was surprised I still won one, and then I read someone else's post about this weeks challenge being about the underdog.... damn right I was the underdog there! π
Geez, some players do have max level Archons but the rest of their team is sub gold mostly, but this player has very nice cards, especially Endura Brune, Headwinds and Silence in one card, I love it!
I was checking its price and its only $2.70 per C.C. so I've just put out a bid buy under that price using Peakmonsters, hopefully someone wants to part with it at a discount with some patience! π
I've countered the blast without knowing with Slade's Deflection Shield, let's see how this goes!
Round 1: Not a lot has happened, but the enemy tank is at low health already so it's a good start.
Round 2: O wow this is going A LOT better than I anticipated! both front units in the other team are close to their deaths already, my tank is also about to be killed but Slade is the secondary tank so that's fine.
Round 3: Keep going team, you can do it!!
Round 4: And it's decided, with an archer in the front, there's no way my opponent can win, without knowing, I made a perfect counter to this much higher level team, and of course the fact that I used a legendary Archon also helped.
Round 5: And it's a win!!!
You can watch the battle unfold for yourself here.
My ranked play is pretty tough this season, I've dropped down from close to Gold 1, back to Gold 3, tough competition for sure!
The 4 SPS is nice, but not enough and because I still had a nice bag of HBD in my account without a purpose, I decided to swap it for some more SPS, with all the cool thing happening in the game, it's bound to get more expensive at a certain point, so I want as much as possible from it at these ridiculous low prices!
Well guys and girls.. this is it for today's post, and since it's already evening here, and I don't want to waste battle energy.. I still have some work to do!
If you haven't made an account already, please consider using my referral link to sign up, I'll happily send the amount I get for your signup back to you in DEC or SPS to help you start.
Also, when you require any help to get you started, let me know, I'm here to advice and guide new players and maybe I can help you with card delegations too!
Have a great day!
