Splinterlands Land is an expensive hobby and because I'm not a whale it's a slow going process where I try to upgrade something in my land every month with a €50 FIAT deposit so I can either buy DEC to stake it on my land, but power cores with it or maybe some more or better land workers because not all of my plots are online.

This week I was looking at the available plots for sale in the regions I am active in, but unfortunately a day before it was my pay day, when I usually would send money to my Splinterlands account the cheap plots I wanted got snatched by someone else, good for them!

But the seller @canabiscup has put more plots for sale in my region yesterday so thanks for that!
Multiple Common Iron and Wood plots for just under $15 each, Grain plots are $28 and have been for sale for 7 months already. For now I produce more Grain in Region 23 than I consume so that's good, but my OTHER land account only has one Grain plot against 6 other plots so if no other affordable Grain plots will be put up for sale in Region 81 I might have to end up either buying Grain from the market or sending it from region 23 to 81 and pay the 10% tax. 🙃

Soooo... do I either buy THREE of those cheap plots but then end up needing more Grain in the end... or will I buy only ONE plus a more expensive Grain plot?
The floor price for Grain has steadily come up in the last months and is currently at $25 across all regions so $28 isn't that bad so I have decided to buy one Iron plot and one Grain plot because I have a lot of Wood plots already.

I'm buying as much assets as I can on Elmo Burns because this marketplace gives the best fee rebate plus they're burning SPS with the profits they make, a win for everyone!

I have never bought Land on this site and honestly it lacks information... I can't see what plot I need to get the Iron plot so I will need to compare the list number on Peakmonsters to look for it, well it's only two so that's OK.

Nope... these codes are not the same and using the filters to filter for Iron doesn't work as well 😅 so Elmo is for buying cards only and back to my original marketplace to buy land, MonsterMarket!

a 1678 DEC cashback is always nice 🙂 so I started with 97k DEC and I'm now down to 27k DEC, not done yet though!

Well that's nice, I now own 10 plots on this account 😊

It's a good habit of always LOCK your assets you're planning to keep for a while so that in case of a security breach everything that's locked can't be transferred out, I do this with my cards as well.

10k more DEC required to power the plots and I'm down to only 17k.

Now I have to find some workers to start building something, not enough DEC to buy permanent workers for these plots this month so I will just see what I have and what the bot isn't using so I just searched for anything with a little Production Power and that was used longer than a month ago.

Almost 12k DEC required to be staked extra on my land, so only 5k remains but in 30 days my Ore Mine will be completed!

My Grain plot will only be worked by two workers for now because I lack the DEC to stake on the land so sorry guys you will be building this farm together for now! 😅
I had a little DEC extra on my account to stake the 6800 required, construction will take 76 days but at least it started, next month I will see what permanent workers I can buy and then I will also need to stake more DEC.

Cans and Bottles to SPS!

This month I found 59 cans and bottles, worth in total just over $11 I am buying SPS with, literally money from the streets AND I am cleaning the environment.

An extra 1391 SPS this month, bringing my total on this account to 146,602

Well, I'm broke again so more of this next month!
