Hey everyone, it's been a while since I made a land update and because there were still a lot of expenses for my real life cycling hobby, I skipped this last month but we're back now. 🙂
Almost every month, I invest €50 personal funds in to land so I can upgrade parts of it, I usually start with looking if there are any good deals in the regions 23 and 81 I am active in, and if not I go and see what's the best option for buying land workers or put the money in to staked DEC if needed.

The cool thing is, I'm depositing in Euro's but the Splinterlands currence is in U.S Dollars so I am getting over 10% extra in Dollars for every Euro! 😊

On top of this, I have a little 'pick up cans and bottles for the deposit money from the streets and nature' project, in my daily life I visit many places being a service engineer so I travel the country four days a week and on my days off I cycle quite a distance twice a week on which I also stop to collect the cans and bottles, doing this I clean the environment plus I literally receive free money from the streets I buy SPS with, more on that later.

This time, when seeing what plots were available I could see two Magical plots for sale for 'only' $38. I want to be able to produce my own Aura and until now, I couldn't so this would be a really, really nice upgrade!

Magical plots give a 100% production bonus to Aura Labs but to get a permit a player also has to buy a permit and I don't have enough research points for that, so this will be a long route - which is fine. 🙂

The annoying thing sometimes about crypto transactions is the waiting for arrival, especially when you transfer from one chain (BNB) to another (Hive).

So, twenty minutes later and I am still waiting on my BNB to arrive on Hive, I can see the transaction went through and arrived at the address so it's now a Hive Engine back end thing but still, quite annoying when you want to continue with what you were doing, spending it!! 😄

So, for now there's no other option than to wait and hope my plot don't get snagged before my nose by someone else 😏 let's grind some more battles then!

Well, with just over two hours of waiting... in hindsight it wasn't so bad now I know the money arrived in my wallet, I always fear it's lost forever in some way I don't understand.

In the meantime I've collected my three daily modern rewards and also my Frontier rewards 😃

Back to today's topic! After swapping (I now DID use TribalDex to avoid getting stuck again) I have to swap a part of this for SPS and the rest to DEC...

After some more crypto swapping and sending stuff, I have bought a Magical Death Common land plot, my first Magical plot ever! 😍

Currently, there's a logging camp there, but I first have to build a research hut on it to get enough research points so I can buy a Aura Permit, with 24k DEC left I have to find some workers...

With only a limited amount of DEC left, I bought a max level Gold Foil Silent Sha-Vi for $7.50 and staked 10k DEC on the land, and now I'm broke again! 😅

My Research Hut is ready tomorrow, and I only need 500 more points for my Aura Permit if I remember this correctly.

Next month, I'll be back and I will have to buy more land workers for my Magical plot!

Free SPS Project

So in the last two months, I've collected a total of €21.05 in cans and bottles, just over 120 of them!
21 Euro with a over 10% extra because the Euro is stronger than the Dollar this means 23.50 in Dollars give or take, at today's SPS price that's about 4100 SPS, not bad!

So, over the last year I've been quite busy buying more SPS every month and this is a nice number already. In total across all my accounts I now own about 210k. 😍
