Splinterlands: How Backline Fire Archer Saved the Match | Full 6-Round Battle Breakdown

Hello Hivers and Splinterlands Players!
How are you all? Hope everyone is doing well.

In the last few posts, I was just sharing the list of matches and wins and losses from the day, but today I thought let's do something different. Today I'm sharing the full round-by-round scene of one of my battles that was really fun to play. It was a 29 mana fight and lasted for 6 full rounds. So let's see what happened in each round and whose card was out when.

Mana Cap and Lineup

• Mana Cap: 29 mana
• My Summoner: Fire Summoner
• Opponent: ACOLYTE_293404 (Earth Summoner)

My Lineup and Cards

At 29 mana, I focused on speed and damage:

1. First Spot (Tank): I put the Red Snake card (Serpentine Spy) up front for a quick hit.
2. Second Spot: A Fighter card with a hoodie to deal a little extra damage.
3. Third spot: White Wolf Monster who had strong armor and health, so that it could take over the tank as soon as it fell.
4. Fourth spot: Fire Archer Boy, kept him in the back so that he could hit free hits from afar.

The opponent had chosen cards with fairly thick health from Earth:

1. First spot: Black Bear, fairly heavy health and a tank card!
2. Second spot: White Wolf Monster.
3. Third spot: Damage dealer with a hoodie.

Round-by-round action: 6 rounds of fighting

• Round 1:

All cards from both sides were standing on the field. My fire cards picked up speed and started attacking Black Bear. The bear from the front also hit my snack. By the end of round 1, no cards were out, just the cards in front took a little damage.

• Round 2 (Bear Out):

In round 2, my Fire Archer and Snake locked the target together and the opponent's big black bear was out! But immediately his White Wolf moved forward and knocked down my Snake. 1, 1 card was out from both sides.

• Round 3 (Tension increased):

Now the hoodie cards on both sides were facing each other. I thought it would go away easily, but the opponent's hits were quite heavy and my hoodie card was also out. Now my White Wolf came to the front line.

• Round 4 (Wolf vs. Wolf):

In round 4, my White Wolf and the Fire Archer standing behind attacked the front wolf together and reduced its health. But in return, my Wolf also took heavy damage and fell to 5 health.

• Round 5 (Second card also piled up):

Here, the Fire Archer Boy sitting safely behind me changed the game and took out the opponent's White Wolf with a straight shot! Now the opponent had only 1 last card left and my 2 cards were still alive.

• Round 6 (Final Hit and Victory):

In round 6, the opponent's last remaining card was stuck alone. My Wolf and Fire Archer together took the final hit and the match went straight to my name.

Played one Battle against ACOLYTE_293404 ended it as a Victory 🙌

My Final Review

The biggest reason for my victory in this entire battle was to keep Fire Archer Boy safe in the last spot. If he had died first, the opponent's Wolf would have easily defeated me. After the previous consecutive defeats, winning such a tight fight of 6 rounds was really fun...
