How are you all? Hope you all are having fun.

After winning 7 out of 10 matches yesterday, I felt like I had just become a Splinterlands pro player haha. I was starting to think that I had a full understanding of the game and which card to place where. But today's session crushed all my pride and told me that I had just started learning, haha!

I was a bit too free and played matches without thinking, which resulted in me losing badly in 7 out of 10 matches today! But come on, you don't win every day, only knights fall on the battlefield.

Streak Day 3

The start was quite strong before the losses. Logged into the game, the daily streak has now reached Day 3.

Spark Bonus I (+10%) is fully active and there are only 5 days left to reach the next Spark Bonus II.

After that, I spun the Daily Wheel (Lux's Favor) and what was the point, I got +150 Sparks straight away and +15 Bonus Sparks (total 165 Sparks). Last time I got 55, today the lottery was drawn. Although I still don't know what the best use of them is, the collection is growing.

Battleground: 10 matches

Today's overconfidence and match situation was something like this:

Battle I (43 mana - vs KINGDAM) Defeat:

Earth decks were on both sides. I thought I would take it easy but the opponent's positioning was much better than mine and started off with a straight loss. And then the opponent's card selection impressed me a lot.

Battle II (24 mana - vs KINGDAM) Defeat:

For the second time in a row, the same guy came out, in a small 24 mana match I brought down a death deck but he again crushed me. Two back-to-back losses due to the opponent's excellent card selection...

Battle III (60 mana - vs _SLBB_INCROSE) Victory:

The third match was a 60 mana heavy match. Here I took full advantage of the speed and attack of the Fire deck and defeated the opponent to get my first victory. I was relieved (maybe the previous opponent was a pro player).

Battle IV (27 mana - vs. _SLBB_MAXIMUMBRONZE) Victory:

At 27 mana, I tried my Fire deck and didn't give the opponent a chance to take control. This was the second win in a row, which made me think that maybe I was making a comeback.

Battle V (95 mana - vs. DIM0802) Defeat:

A giant field of 95 mana, I put big monsters in, but the player with the Elite Knights in front brought such a strong lineup that it blew up my entire deck. Until yesterday, I thought that matches with more than 50 mana would be easy for me, but I was wrong...

Battle VI (30 mana - vs DISCIPLE_730489) Victory:

Death vs Life deck at 30 mana. The card setup was fine and I won this match comfortably. This was the last joy of the day. This time, I lost three battles in a row.

Battle VII (39 mana - vs AKARMY) Defeat:

From here, a series of losses began that seemed to be unstoppable. My Life team could not stand up to AKARMY's Death deck. And before the belt started, my cards returned home (must have been tired, hahaha!).

Battle VIII (28 mana - vs AKARMY) Defeat:

The same player appeared again, I took revenge with the Fire deck but he took the game again. Losing to the same guy twice was heartbreaking, hahaha!

Battle IX (98 mana - vs SGTCOX) Defeat:

The biggest match of 98 mana. The life deck in front was sitting with such a strong shield that my attacks went in vain and another defeat was destined. My cards disturbed a lot, the opponent was hitting but I was missing.

Battle X (58 mana - vs DZADZO_LITE) Defeat:

The last match was Fire vs Earth. I thought I would end the session with a win but both luck and gameplay were bad and the session also ended in a loss.

My final review

I won 7 the previous day and lost 7 today! The score is completely even.

10 matches played: 3 wins and 7 losses.
The streak has gone to 3 days without breaking and the sparks have been very good.
But one thing I understood is that when a match of 80 or above 90 mana comes, just putting big cards is not enough, you have to plan in advance to break the shield and control the speed.

When you are losing continuously, should you stop the game or keep playing? And what is the best strategy in these 90+ mana matches?
