Splinterlands: 7 Wins Out of 10 & Unlocking Big Chest Rewards
Greetings Hivers and Splinterlands fellas!
Hope everyone is doing awesome.
After all, I am now starting to get the hang of this game. Learning "where card should be placed, which tank should be at front, and why speed actually matters. Yesterday, in my last post, I rushed and only played 3 games. But today, I sat down for a solid grinding session, it was a pretty long run played 10 matches back to back. Laughed at some dumb mistakes, got annoyed at losses, and pulled some sweet rewards.
Day 2 Streak & Free Sparks
Logged in the game and got streak of Day 2, Spark Bonus I (+10%) is running now. Streak shield is still safe, with 6 days to go for the next milestone.
Used Free Spin wheel as usual and this time got +50 Sparks plus 5 bonus sparks (55 sparks total). I have no clue where to spend them yet or what they even do lolz...
The 10 Matches Run
Tested different combos today. Here is how the games went:
- Game 1 (58 Mana vs IGORB85_LITE) Started with a Defeat:
I brought my Fire against opponent's Earth. Thought Fire had the upper hand, but the opponent's cards were way too fast. My lineup melted before I could react. It was a tough start.
- Game 2 (84 Mana vs _SLBB_COOLCRIMSON) First Victory after a Defeat:
Huge 84 mana battlefield. Put my new placement ideas to work with beefy Earth monsters and wrecked his Death team completely. Great feelings on a victory after early defeat✌️
- Game 3 (31 Mana vs EMANFLYY) Another Victory:
Earth mirror match. Got my Bear and damage dealers in the exact right slots and booked an easy victory.
- Game 4 (77 Mana vs _SLBB_MAXIMUMBRONZE) Back to Back 3rd Victory:
Another big mana match after second battle. Water decks gave me nightmares last time, but this time my Fire setup took clean revenge, and gave a another victory.
- Game 5 (57 Mana vs _SLBB_ECONOMICWHITE) 4th Consecutive Victory:
It's Fire against of Life this time. Just kept hitting hard until their frontline gave away. 4th Victory in a row...
- Game 6 (29 Mana vs _SLBB_COMPULSORYPURPLE) A Defeat after 4 Victories:
Tried Water at 29 mana. Messed up the speed matchup and threw the game away...
- Game 7 (27 Mana vs _SLBB_WRITTENVIOLET) And Again Victory:
Tried Life against Fire. It was a real solid setup, and I earned smooth win.
That win popped up my chest ready to claim on winning 5 battles in a day:

Got a brand new card: Twice Yester Knight (7 mana, Human).
- Game 8 (38 Mana vs _SLBB_ORIGINALEMERALD) Second Victory in a row again:
I went with Death again of Fire. This one mattered big time pushed my rating straight to 380 and unlocked Bronze II rewards...

Chest loot was loaded:
- Chaos Furybringer
- Time Bandit (Rare Dwarf card!)
- +2 Energy (more free games to grind)
- 1 Legendary Potion Charge
- Game 9 (30 Mana vs JARLAXLE-BAENRE) Defeat right after Getting Rewards hahaha:
Got too hyped after opening the loot, jumped into the game without thinking, and got punished hard, haha. Lesson learned: do not play distracted.
- Game 10 (27 Mana vs _SLBB_SYMBOLICAMETHYST) Ended up with a Victory:
Reset my focus, put Earth cards back to work, and beat Fire to end the grind on a win...
Quick Wrap-up
I am super happy with today's grind:
- 10 matches total: 7 wins, 3 losses.
- Rating climbed up to 380.
- Scored solid cards and bonus energy.
For the experienced players out there: where do you guys usually slot Twice Yester Knight and Time Bandit?
