Share your Battle - Three cornerstones for endless possibilities

Hello dear Splinterlands community,

today I would like to share one of my favorite game tactics with you and I am curious to hear what you have to say about it. I hope you enjoy reading it.

With water to victory

Since the Rebellion cards have been released and I've gotten used to them, I have a new favorite tactic that is based on two cards in particular:

Thanalorian Scion

This 5 mana card already has 10 shield and the Void Armor ability at level 1. This makes it really strong for me, especially in the mid mana game between 20 and 35 mana.

The second card I like to play in combination with Thanalorian Scion in my tactic is:

Daarg Deadblast

I have already introduced this card to you in one of my past posts as one of my absolute favorite rebellion cards.

What are my tactics

Depending on how much mana you can use, the tactic can be combined with different cards. For me, however, the following cornerstones are indispensable:

Thanalorian Scion in position 1: With its shield, the card intercepts an extremely large number of enemy attacks (especially if the opponent likes to attack with magic) and can serve as a good block.

To keep Thanalorian Scion in position 1 alive for as long as possible, I usually take Scavo Hireling with me:

He cheerfully repairs the shield of your block every turn and makes sure that your opponent bites his teeth out a little longer on Thanalorian Scion. Positive side effect: Shield Repair also works in the Healed out ruleset and can therefore be a double gamechanger.

But it would be a shame if you had to take a card with no attack just to keep your block alive longer. This is where Daarg Deadblast with Weapon Training comes into play and gives our repairing helper an additional 2 Magic Attack.

Depending on the ruleset and mana cap, you can then build your other cards around these basic pillars. Whether you pack two extra shields with Venari Wavesmith, protect your rear position for opponents with Sneak or in the Sneak ruleset with Noa The Just and additional Weapon Training, or annoy your opponent twice by using River Hellondale's Rebirth ability for Thanalorian Scion. There are no limits to your imagination and creativity here. To show you a few possibilities, you can take a look at some of my battles with this tactic here:

Mit Wasser zum Sieg

Seit die Rebellion Karten released sind und ich mich mit diesen eingespielt habe, habe ich eine neue Lieblingstaktik, die vor Allem auf zwei Karten aufbaut:

Thanalorian Scion

Diese Karte für 5 Mana hat auf Stufe 1 bereits 10 Schild und die Void Armour Fähigkeit. Damit ist sie für mich vor Allem im Mid Mana Game zwischen 20 und 35 Mana wirklich stark.

Die zweite Karte, die ich bei meiner Taktik gerne in Kombination mit Thanalorian Scion spiele ist:

Daarg Deadblast

Diese Karte habe ich Euch bereits in einem meiner vergangenen Beiträge als eine meiner absoluten Lieblings-Rebellionkarten vorgestellt.

Wie sieht meine Taktik aus

Je nachdem wie viel Mana man einsetzen kann, ist die Taktik mit verschiedenen Karten kombinierbar. Unverzichtbar sind aber für mich folgende Grundpfeiler:

Thanalorian Scion auf Position 1. Hier fängt die Karte mit ihrem Schild extrem viele gegenerische Angriffe ab (vor Allem wenn dieser gerne mit Magie angreift) und kann als guter Block dienen.

Um Thanalorian Scion auf Position 1 möglichst lange am Leben zu halten, nehme ich im Regelfall noch Scavo Hireling mit:

Dieser repariert jede Runde munter das Schild von eurem Block und sorgt dafür, dass sich euer Gegner noch etwas länger die Zähne an Thanalorian Scion ausbeißt. Positiver Nebeneffekt: Schild Repair funktioniert auch im Healed out Ruleset und kann damit zum doppelten Gamechanger werden.

Es wäre ja aber schade, wenn ihr eine Karte ohne Angriff mitnehmen müsstet, nur um euren Block länger am Leben zu halten. Hier kommt Daarg Deadblast mit Weapon Training ins Spiel und gibt unserem reparierendem Helfer zusätzlich noch 2 Magie Angriff.

Rund um diese Grundpfeiler könnt ihr dann je nach Ruleset und Mana Cap eure weiteren Karten aufbauen. Ob ihr mit Venari Wavesmith noch zwei Schild extra einpackt, für Gegner mit Sneak oder im Sneak Ruleset eure hintere Position mit Noa The Just und zusätzlichem Weapon Training absichert oder euren Gegner doppelt ärgert indem ihr für Thanalorian Scion die Rebirth Fähigkeit von River Hellondale nutzt. Eurer Fantasie und Kreativität sind hier keine Grenzen gesetzt. Um Euch hierfür ein paar Möglichkeiten aufzuzeigen, könnt ihr Euch hier verschiedene meiner Battles mit dieser Taktik anschauen:
