Price for DEC and SPS
In August 2022 I made a conversion from SPS to DEC and snapshot cover picture shows the transaction. Since then the value of SPS has dropped significantly.
I will be honest here and say that I do not hold 1.3 million DEC. In fact I only hold less than 100k DEC as of now because I have spent a lot of it on cards. With card prices dropping to new all time lows my gains in the SPS to DEC trade has simply all but vanished.
Yet here I am posting to ponder what if the tables are about to turn soon? What if SPS is about to become a lot more valuable than its current price?
In terms of DEC and SPS relative to Hive they are both down but DEC remains above its all time lows. However it is worth noting that SPS was once a lot more expensive than DEC was and would ever be.
This is because DEC is designed to be pegged to $0.001 while SPS has room to grow. Will SPS grow is the big question here. As of now no signs are showing that SPS prices are rising, but it is worth mentioning that when DEC price was pegged or above pegged the price of SPS was at least 5x where it is now. This occurred over a year ago as seen in my trade. Would I want to believe this can happen again? Just in reverse order? So if DEC will in the near future get back to peg will SPS 5x? I personally see a potential burst in price for SPS if and when DEC gets back to peg and goes above. How much I would guess in the factor of 5x. Your SPS to DEC conversion was a great move
I think SPS won't go up until DEC pegs either. SPS is inflationary and as time passes, that inflation should also go down. So maybe down the road, SPS might become viable.
