My Short Rant On Card Pack Prices
5k DEC for a new pack won't come cheap in terms of crypto. As of now DEC to Hive is at lowest rates in years making it a lot more expensive in terms of Hive. Even the value of DEC itself has fallen with the crypto bear season.
Now with Escalation packs officially available it likely will make remaining legacy packs lower in prices.
In terms of $ value the legacy sets range in $4 to $24 a pack where highest being alpha packs. Still these numbers are reasonable considering the newest is supposedly costing 5k DEC.
In the long run trend is our friend and prices for packs seems to fall below MSRP unless we talking about limited supply of certain legacy packs. This concludes that buying early is to stay competitive but down the road third party markets will likely have players offer packs at lower prices.
