Avatar Updates

Often early in the week Splinterlands has a in game update that stops play temporarily. This week is no exception but some updates are immediately noticeable.

Basically players can make their own avatar as like a in game play card. With stats that I assume likely get raised for every level upgrade. Each upgrade cost a certain amount of Glint.

We are going to be able to play with these avatar cards in future events. Maybe even get them in brawls and tournaments?

Another silo to absorb Glint making it all worth while to play rank battles and continue to rise in ranks. From rewards chests to skins and now avatar upgrades there is a lot that players can spend on to stand out. This makes each player a bit unique from each other beyond simply owning Splinterlands assets.

Get to even put badges on one's avatar to let all know of each other's stats. I put the unique one of when I joined, 2018. But now there is real representation for achievements like 2.5 million collection points, 50 land plots owned, or 250k SPS staked. My eyes are on the 250k SPS staked. I could not reach it in 2025 but likely will try to aim for it come 2026.

Get in the game to modify your avatar look as it starts free of charge and players can make a lot of different adjustments to face and gear.
