I hope all of you are doing well in life and also enjoying this amazing crypto strategic card-based game in your daily free time and earning crypto rewards while Progressing into the game and growing your progress and in-game earned card collection. If you are playing in this ongoing ranked season in the game, then you most probably have noticed that we are already near the end of this current season and only a little less than 2 days remain for this one to get reset. So, if you are playing competitively in the ranked section, then I guess you are working on your goals seriously right now, whether it is to reach a certain league tier or to secure a place in the champion top leaderboard. Well for me, I have set it to reach the Champion league as my goal for every season to collect the champ III league tier reward chests which I have gladly reached this season. I really like this recent update where they finally decided to bring back reward chests, because since then it has been a lot more fun to play. Anyway, I am currently playing in the Champion III league with a current trophy count of 3,860 and would need another whooping 140 trophies to reach the next league. Let’s see if I can reach there in this season.
Moving forward, let me now come to the main topic of this post as today, I will be talking about another awesome Rebellion monster card with you all. As you have already seen in my thumbnail above, today we will be shedding light upon the KARST HARPY. So if you are interested, let’s dive in without any further ado.
KARST HARPY is a monster type card introduced in this game with the launch of Rebellion edition cards and this card came with the core set. This card’s attack type is Ranged and it belongs to the Life element. This monster requires 3 mana to be used in your lineup, so it would be a super handy monster to play small to medium mana limit matches. It is an Epic-type card by rarity, so you will need a total of 46 cards to upgrade it to max level. Apart from a decent range attack with a super high speed and large health, this monster also comes with 2 abilities which I will be talking about later in this post. Let us now take a deeper look into this card’s league wise stats to find out more.
BRONZE
At level 2, this card possesses only 1 ranged attack power at 3 speed with 5 health along with 2 abilities - first, the Flying ability which it gets from its initial level and the second is Scattershot ability which it gets at level 2. Now while the Flying ability will help it to have more chance to evade a melee and ranged attacks from non-flying enemy monsters, on the other hand, the Scattershot ability will enable this monster at any random monster on the opponent’s lineup, regardless of any abilities.
SILVER
As you upgrade this monster to level 3, it receives the same 1 ranged attack power at an increased 4 speed with an increased 6 health. Though it does not get any new abilities at this level, it gets an increment in both its health and speed which definitely will help it in battles.
GOLD
When this card gets upgraded further to level 5, it gets an overall increased stats - 2 ranged attack power (that it gets from level 4) at 5 seed with 7 health but sadly, sadly it doesn’t get any new abilities even at Gold league levels.
DIAMOND / CHAMPION
Finally, when this minster card gets upgraded to its max level of 6, it possesses further increased stats of 3 ranged attack powers at 5 speed with 7 health along with those same 2 abilities, as it does not get any new ones even at its max level. So basically, this monster gets abilities first then slowly increases its overall stats throughout its upgrade levels.
This time while playing the game, I got a good match with a medium 33 mana limit match where only 2 elements were allowed to choose from - Life and Dragon. There were also 3 rulesets applied in this match, Counterspell (all monsters get the Magic Reflect ability), Are you not Entertained (you can use one more gladiator card in this match) and Heavy Hitters ( All units have Knock Out ability in this match, that deals double damage if the target monster is in stun). So after looking at all these rulesets and limitations, I decided to use melee and ranged monsters in my lineup and started building it accordingly.
For this match, first of all, I chose the dual Life + Earth legendary summoner ETERNAL TOFU with Life element monsters and at the first position of my lineup, I chose the Hugo Strongword followed by Dumacke Exile, Stitch Leech, Olivia of the Brook, Uraeus and Karst Harpy at the end position. Now when both the lineups got revealed later in the match, I found out that my opponent had used the Life legendary summoner Grandmaster Rather, and at the front places, he chose the Dumacke Orc followed by Scavo Hierling, Xenith Archer, Gem Meteor, Pelacor Arbalest and Venari Crystalsmith at the end position.
As the battle began, the first kill was done by my Stitch Leech which took down the opponent’s last position monster Crystalsmith, followed by the enemy Xenith Archer who killed down my front defence card Hugo Strongword. Next, my Stitch Leech scored another one killing down the Pelacor Arbalest and then, the enemy card Gem Meteor also took revenge by killing down my second defence card Dumacke Exile. Finally, after a lot of attacks, the enemy Dumacke Orc died at the hands of Olivia, followed by another kill from Olivia taking down the Gem Meteor, and then at round 5, Olivia again killed down both the Scavo Hierling and Xenith Archer on the opponent’s side and won this thrilling match.

These new cards really are “retiring” the old collection. If I'm not mistaken, there's a Light element creature with this same focus, but its attack is melee and it doesn't exchange a starting ability for Opportunity
