Splinterlands | I just Won a Gold Foil Legendary card!

Welcome to another splinterlands post, guys and I hope all of you are doing well in your lives and enjoying an amazing day with your loved ones. Now, if you are a splinterlands player and love to play this game in your daily free time, then right now, you might be working hard on your seasonal goals, while keeping yourself up-to-date with the tournaments and brawls. If we take a look at the ongoing season clock, right now, there are only 8 days and 19 hours left for this current ranked season to meet its end. So if you have set a goal and are actively working on it in this ranked season, whether it is to reach a particular league tier or to compare against the top players to capture a seat in the champion leaderboard, I hope you reach it as soon as possible. Congrats if you have already reached your goal and for those who are yet to reach their goal, be sure to push harder from now on, and also keep an eye on your battle energy mana and maintain a balanced approach.
Now, let’s talk about the frontier mode and as I have shared in my previous posts, I have been playing this mode on a regular basis, as usual. For those who are very new to the game, the frontier mode is a free to play mode in the Splinterlands game, where you can start playing and progressing in this game without any minimum monetary requirement barrier. But, for playing this mode, you can earn foundation cards or packs and daily mission rewards, which you can choose to sell for dec token or money. Now, talking about myself, I am playing at the highest Gold I league tier with a current trophy count of 3,560. Now, with only another 1 week in hand, I think I can keep trying on my goal of reaching the 4,000 trophy mark. But looking at my foundation card collection, I still have a handful of epic cards yet to be upgraded to their max level. Let’s now look at the upcoming weekly Frontier Raffle and this one still has almost 4 days to end. So far, I have earned a total of 27 raffle entries so far, and having another 4 days in hand, I will try to score at least 30 more to get a slight chance.
On the other hand, not only is the weekly raffle the only place to earn wild prizes, but playing the frontier ranked mode itself becomes a source of getting rare jackpot edition cards. As announced recently via the splinterlands team, the Jackpot cards are a set of 4 cards that fall under extra foundation edition cardset and these cards can only be earned in the daily frontier mission rewards. We all get max 3 rewards to win and the level of rewards depends on our playing league tier level. So, daily, you get 3 chances and if you get lucky, while claiming one of your rewards, a jackpot may appear magically, making your day joyful.
Now, as I have shared in the screenshot above, I have got another jackpot card today while claiming one of my daily mission rewards. As you can see, the card is the water element common type card called Aimee Whisperwind. This melee attacking card costs a whopping 9 mana and also possesses an opportunity ability, which is super useful in certain ruleset matches. Anyways, this is my second time winning a jackpot card and both of them are Aimee and regular foils. I wish I could get a back foil or arcane foil card from the jackpot reveal one day, but will that ever be true?
Now, getting another Aimee jackpot foundation card is not the main topic of this post, as I have something even more interesting to share with all of you. Gladly, I have won a gold foil legendary card from the foundation packs. So, if you can't know what I won, let’s take a dive without any further ado.
So yesterday, after finishing playing all my 3 daily frontier missions, I managed to collect all 3 foundation packs and then instantly decided to open them all at once. So, as thought, I have all of them 3 packs opened on auto to just chill in the background and enjoy the quick show. First, one of those steals the show, when showing a legendary shock theme before being revealed to show it's a legendary card. But even after flipping it, the shining didn't end there and even, it started shining brighter snd we quickly found why, because it soon turned into a freaking gold foil legendary card. Yes, I just received a gold foil and out of the box max legendary card named Great Bear Druid.
The Great Bear Druid is a great card and the best feature of this card is its dual attack type. I personally use this card often, especially when playing high mana limit matches with the water element. Anyway, I was really happy to receive such an unexpected surprise, and not to mention,
