Splinterlands | I got 4 copies of Aves Sturgis from Reward Shop

What’s up my fellow Splinterlands Players!

I hope all of you are doing well in your life and enjoying this beautiful day with your loved ones. If you are a splinterlands player just like me, then you must be working on your goals for this ongoing ranked season and battling with your best to earn SPS and Glint tokens while climbing up the trophy ladder. For me, I am doing the same and currently, I am playing at Diamond II tier with a current trophy count of 3,120 and hope to reach the next league within the next couple of days. Time is flying faster it seems because it feels like we have ended playing the last season only recently but we have actually walked down some way in this ongoing one and only around 10 days left for this current ranked season to meet its end.

For my decent performance in the last season, I did earn a bag of Glint tokens which I saved thinking I would use it later to buy energy and play even more but however, last night while seeing some other player's screenshots of opening Legendary card draws and Ultimate chests, I also got provoked and decided to try my luck with the reward shop and in this post, I am about to share how that went after spending large bag of Glint which I was saving for a while. But before that, allow me to talk a little about Brawls.

BRAWL RESULT

If you have been reading my posts or got matched with me in the game, you know that I am a member of The Guild of Neoxian and have been playing in this amazing Guild since the beginning of the Guild update. We at Neoxian Guild are very serious about Brawls and we play every single brawl because not only it is super fun to play hut also comes with lucrative SPS and merit rewards for its participants. Just yesterday, we finished playing another great Brawl and it was a great war we fought together as a united guild and enjoyed every bit of it. As for the results, this time we secured second place in the Brawl leaderboard and celebrating our achievement right now while preparing for the next one that is about to get started soon. First of all, I want to thank our Guild Owner Mr. Neoxian, Guild Officer Xawi and all my fellow guild warriors who brought their best performance in the last brawl to win the second spot and needless to mention we will try to perform better in this upcoming one and achieve the first spot hopefully. Now, talking about the rewards from the last brawl, our guild got 202 crowns this time and each of our guild members who fought in this brawl got rewarded with 12,120 merit points and 575.099 SPS each. As you can clearly see, the rewards for playing brawls are really juicy and if you are playing the ranked but skipping brawls, my friend you are missing out on the big bag of rewards, so I would suggest getting into a guild or building one yourself and start playing brawls right now if you are not doing it already.

GLINT COLLECTION

Now moving on, last bought when I checked my Glint collection, I had saved a total of 406k Glint points and as I shared above, I decided to try my luck in the reward shop and spend my Glint tokens to buy Legendary draws and Ultimate chests. Though I have almost all the soul-bound reward cards in my collection, I still have some Legendary cards yet to be maxed out and not having those cards at max levels was affecting my performance in the battles. Hence, I decided to go for a shopping and visited the Rewards shop Last night.

LEGENDARY DRAW

At first, I focused on the Rarity draws section in the shop and went directly to the legendary one, I wanted to open multiple draws at once if that increases my chance of getting the particular cards that I wanted. So, I bought 10 legendary draws for a whooping 250k Glints, which is the maximum amount you can buy without paying extra glints. After buying them, I immediately opened them also also applied the required 10 Alchemy potions to increase the chances of getting gold foil legendaries and let me share the outcome below.

As you can see, though I didn’t get any Gold Foil legendaries, my luck really shined well and I got 3 copies of Aves Sturgis which is one of the legendary cards that ai still have at level 2 and wanted badly to upgrade to max level. After receiving one or two, but freaking 3 copies of them I immediately ran to the cards tab and upgraded it to level 3 and now, my Aves possess 3 magic attack power which will be really helpful from now on.

ULTIMATE CHESTS

After upgrading my Aves, I again came back to the Rewards shop tab as I wanted to open some Chests as well to see if I could grab some more legendary reward cards and energies and as thought, I bought the whole first batch of 30 Ultimate chests which cost me another 75k Glints. I also applied the required alchemy and legendary potions so booth the chance of getting epics and legendary cards and opened them all at once straight away and allowed me to share the outcome below.

As you can see, I again got lucky this time and managed to get my hands on another copy of Aves and at this point, I was really feeling happy cause I didn’t even expect to get another Aves at all. However, apart from the Aves, I also received a bunch of merits, energies and potions and looking at the cards that I got, I got 2 gold foil and 2 regular foil epic cards and a bunch of rare and common cards from the draw apart from the legendary Aves.

MY FEELING

I am really excited about both outcomes and very glad that I got 4 copies of Aves. I was thinking at first whether to spend these hard-earned Glints for these draws or chests or save them for the title, but after opening them and seeing the outcome, I don't have even a little bit of guilt now. Now I can easily choose my Aves with attack less card to get 3 attacks which will increase my performance significantly in some particular matches I hope and now, I will be again saving my Glints and when I make enough, I will surely visit the Reward shop again, what about you?
