Hello My Fellow Splinter Warriors,

The Rebellion edition card set sold out in the official shop a while ago and after waiting for a while, finally, Splinterlands is getting ready to be back with another brand-new card set called Conclave Arcana! The whole Splinterlands community is getting excited about the Conclave Arcana because this next edition of the card set will be arriving sooner than you think. With millions of Conclave Arcana booster packs hitting the Splinterlands market soon, all of us will soon have a chance to expand our card collections with this newly added card set and learn new strategies with them. In my last post, I talked about the different types of packs that we will see from this upcoming card set and moving on, today we will discuss the statistics, including how Splinterlands is planning to sell them, Pre-Sale and Generate sale numbers and also the burning mechanism. So, if you are interested, let us take a dive right into it without any further ado.

Total Booster Pack Counts

The total number of Conclave Arcana booster packs that will be released for sale is looking massive but balanced. Looks like the team has thought deep on this after messing it up by printing huge no of Chaos Legion cards in the past and after rectifying their mistake while creating the Rebellion edition card set, they followed the same path with Conclave arcana as well. Let’s take a look at how it breaks down.

• 5 million Standard Booster Packs (5x5 = 25 million cards)

• 1 million Alchemist Booster Packs (1x5 = 5 million cards)

• 500,000 Legendary Booster Packs (0.5 x 5 = 2.5 million cards)

• Unlimited Starter Booster Packs.

About the Starter Booster packs, according to Matt’s proposal, it said the starter booster packs would remain printable until the next card-set launches, however, it is also said that all these details are subject to be changed by additional proposals. Anyway, leaving the Starter booster packs, there are at least 32.5 million cards that will be minted in Conclave Arcana, and the actual number will surely be higher after you include Starter Booster Packs. However, the number of cards above regular foil rare cards will be significantly lower.

Pre-Sale Stats

Just like what we saw with the previous card-set sale, exactly one month before the official General sale, Splinterlands will hold a Pre-Sale event to give us a chance to buy them beforehand. However, unlike the previous ones, this Pre-Sale will not be a discount event and the Arcana packs will cost the same as during the general sale, but to encourage investors to buy them early in the pre-sale will come with some special perks like Promo Cards and Leaderboard Rewards.

Why Buy in the Pre-Sale?

• Exclusive Promo Cards - Every dollar spent during the Conclave Arcana Pre-Sale will give you a chance to earn two amazing and ultra-rare limited-edition promo cards.

• Leaderboard Rewards - The top investors in Conclave Arcana pre-sale will receive titles, promo cards and even the ability to design six Legendary Summoner cards for the set.

Pre-Sale Pack Breakdown

As calculated from the stats above, a total of $4.2 million worth of packs will be sold during this pre-sale phase

• 500,000 Standard Booster Packs ($4 each = $2 million total)

• 100,000 Alchemist Booster Packs ($12 each = $1.2 million total)

• 50,000 Legendary Booster Packs ($24 each = $1.2 million total)

General Sale

General Sale After the Pre-Sale ends, the General sale through which the Conclave Arcana set will launch in the game is expected around the end of April. Here is how many packs will still be available

• 4.5 million Standard Booster Packs ($4 each = $18 million total)

• 900,000 Alchemist Booster Packs ($12 each = $10.8 million total)

• 450,000 Legendary Booster Packs ($24 each = $10.8 million total)

If you calculate, this would bring the total value of Conclave Arcana packs in the general sale to a whopping $39.6 million, and note that I am not even including Starter Booster Packs, which cost $1 each.

Burn Mechanism

We have seen this burn mechanism in effect with the previous Rebellion Edition packs and the same rule will be applied in Conclave Arcana as well, just maintain a balance with unsold packs. With the upcoming Conclave Arcana, Splinterlands has set a minimum daily sales cap as follows.

• 15,000 Standard Booster Packs

• 3,000 Alchemist Booster Packs

• 1,500 Legendary Booster Packs

If these above numbers of packs don't get sold each day after the sale starts, then with the remaining packs, 10% of the total unsold packs go to the sps.dao account and 90% of the unsold packs get burned or permanently removed from circulation.

For example, let’s say only 12,000 Standard Packs, 2500 Alchemy packs and 1,200 Legendary are sold on a particular day, then with the remaining 3,000 Standard packs, 500 Alchemy packs and 300 Legendary packs, 10% of them will go to sps.dao and the remaining 90% will be burned. Even though there’s a daily minimum sales limit, all of these different packs will be available from Day 1, meaning we don’t have to wait to buy them. The minimum limit is just a way to ensure the whole Conclave Arcana packs sale ends in a certain period of time frame.

Unlimited Starter Booster Packs

Unlike the other packs that I talked about above, there will be no print limit on Starter Booster Packs and they will remain available on the market until a new card set is released, according to Matt’s proposal and is subject to be changed if a new proposal comes and gets passed with enough votes. This decision is taken especially for new players so that they always have access to these packs and kickstart their journey in Splinterlands.

Last but not least, I think the Conclave Arcana card set sale will strengthen the Splinterlands economy up, not to mention that it may become one of the most successful releases in Splinterlands history as well. Conclave Arcana is about to hit the market soon and while it is aiming to sell millions of cards, offering exclusive pre-sale bonuses and a pack-burning system to keep supply in check and under control. As we saw above, in spite of having millions of cards, this set is designed in such a way to limit the Higher rarity card print counts under control to preserve value and I strongly believe this is a very well-thought decision. So, no matter if you are a professional Splinterlands player or just starting your journey out, be sure to check out this upcoming card set and build a strategy on how will you proceed with the sale.
